How You’ll Learn
Everyone learns in different ways, which is why we use a range of teaching methods to make sure that you are ready for your next steps, whether that’s going on to higher level study or to start your career.
Our experienced, supportive and motivated staff have both academic and industry experience. They have a great network to tap into so that you hear from some great guest speakers too. You’ll spend time in the classroom making sure that your theoretical knowledge is spot on, before putting that knowledge into practice with hands-on sessions. You will be encouraged to take part in extra-curricular activities, work experience and industry placements to deepen your knowledge, experience and skill sets. As well as vocational learning on campus, mandatory work experience is integrated into most of our courses. You’ll love...

including our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) Contact Time and Independent Study
You will have tutor led contact time each week, which will include lectures, seminars, on campus work experience, practical sessions and tutorials. For college level courses this is usually three days per week on campus. It varies for our degree level programmes. You will also need to factor in time for independent study, at home or on campus.
