The Application Process

Here’s what happens once we have received your application:

Interview

Once we’ve received your application you may be sent details of an interview date and time with the relevant course manager via email. We interview all college level students and our degree level course managers like to speak to some applicants too. Please let us know if the appointment you receive isn’t suitable; we’re here to fit aound what’s best for you.

Your offer

Once our team are happy, you’ll receive an offer of a place at Riseholme with details of any conditions you’ll need to secure your place, i.e. necessary qualifiations. Please confirm whether ou accept the offer or not. If during the interview you realise the course isn’t for you, don’t worry, we’re here to help guide you to the route that is right for you.

What next?

If you’re planning on living on campus, you’ll be sent details via email when applications open. We advise that you apply as soon as possible as rooms are allocated on a first-come-first-se ed basis. We’ll also stay in touch with updates so you know what’s going on at Riseholme ready to join us.

Enrolment

During the summer before you start here at Riseholme College, you’ll be sent full details of how to enrol with us and a reminder of what you will need for your course and how to purchase those items. Make sure you let us know of any changes to your address, email or telephone number so that you don’t miss any information. You can do this by emailing admissions@bishopburton.ac.uk Don’t worry if you don’t meet all of the entry requirements for your course, we will do our best to offer you an alternative course to keep you on track. “Riseholme is completely different from school - it gives you freedom.”
