Although I have had issues with the way the status quo has operated in the world for as long as I can remember, I have never had a problem with any human being based on their race, ethnicity, creed, religion, or lack of religion. I despise how the white power structure has overtly and covertly oppressed, robbed, hoodwinked people who are different from them (especially Black folks like me). I have, however, shared love with white people and humans of all persuasions. It never made sense to me that I would work most my life in order to then retire when older, and then begin to live my best life. I did not know that the cost of my freedom would be the desperation of AIDS and addiction, but I am grateful for my journey. It has been the grace and mercy of a higher power, and the love of many that has blessed me with a treasure beyond measure. As we grateful folks say, "won't He do it?"

Currently, fear of the past and future are being intentionally used as a way to control the present actions of many people. The "SQ" (status quo) has gained power through ill-gotten gains. Now in order to satisfy their fear of retribution, they believe they have to protect their power by stoking hate and chaos. Conversely, those of us who have been oppressed fear continued persecution. As a result, we are intent on doing whatever is necessary to attain and maintain freedom. the paradigm is bringing these two conflicting extremes to a collision. Change is a necessary part of life and evolution that is often fought against by those who benefit from, or are addicted to keeping things the way they are, right? The greater pain and suffering come from resisting change. Believe it or not, change is inevitable, and the only thing that is constant.

I have found it imperative that we participate in our own survival (or salvation) in order to be free. It is evident that if we are not seeking and moving towards "positive" change in our lives and society, we are being complicit in the demise of both. Historically, there have been those who have been destroying our society by undermining our evolution in order to maintain a sense of control over the masses using whatever means available. We need to collectively realize a critical mass of positivity right now. I would like to save the world, but I had to learn how to save myself first. By doing so, I have made an impact on my family, relationships, and hopefully all the people I interact with in one way or the other. I thought we would have had greater change in the world by now, but my lifetime is but a blink in the evolutionary perspective of humans. The point is we do not want to quit five minutes before the miracle happens, do we?

Congratulations on winning the spiritual lottery! You are here on the planet to witness and engage the energy involving one of the greatest paradigm shifts of all time. There have been many evolutionarychanges in the history of man. We have gone through the “ice age”, “stone age”, “iron age”, “industrial age”, “space age”, and the “information age”.

I believe we are truly having a societal epiphany and going to have a great awakening into a “spiritual age” that will catapult us into another dimension of existence. It will be a world where poverty, war, and infirmity are no longer needed or

quite okay to be unclear about life and life's goals when you are young. I feel that's because we are inexperienced and still testing the waters. But there were times when overthinking made things worse for me. I felt my thoughts were like a tangled ball of wool stuck in my head.

again and again, have doubts, overanalyze things, and finally when I would come to a conclusion, I'd immediately start doubting it. And the whole process would start over, until my brain was boiling. My confusions and problems would chase me until I started meditating regularly.

Today, I can't imagine starting my day without meditation, which for me is the best tool to clear my mind and keep it calm, relaxed, and focused, all at the same time.
