Riksbyggen’s interior design programme Your style – your home One of the advantages to buying a brand-new home is that you get to choose the fixtures and finishes. To help you make your selections, our interior designers have compiled a number of kitchen and bathroom style packages. The basic design style for our kitchens and bathrooms is called Harmoni. In this package, our designers have selected and paired a variety of materials and products for a stylish, practical home that lasts over time. Within the Harmoni style, you can choose – free of charge – the cabinets, pulls or knobs, countertop and backsplash you want. The same is true for a Harmoni bathroom: choose the floor tile, wall tile, whether you want a mirror cabinet or mirror and more. Feel free to combine the different options within the style as you like – everything matches beautifully, and it is all included in the price of your home. Do a wood-filled kitchen or shaker style cabinets sound more intriguing? In that case, one of our add-on styles may be right for you. You can choose what you like within each style package, and all products fit together wonderfully. You pay a fixed package price for the add-on style, no matter which products you choose within it. You can also make other choices for your flat that fall out side of the kitchen and bathroom style packages. We call these “Additional details in your kitchen”, “Additional details in your bathroom” and “Additional details in your home”. They could include your choice of appliances, parquet floors, faucets, shower doors, interior doors or sliding door closets.

To help you select your interior design details, in addition to this magazine, you can also consult Riksbyggen’s interior design portal – a digital tool that will show you a typical kitchen and bathroom in the basic design, and the various add-on styles. You can use this tool to create a visual picture of how your new kitchen and bathroom will look. Try out the different styles and explore the various cabinets, pulls, countertops and tiles in different combinations. You can find the portal on our project website. Later, when it is time to make your interior design selections, you will be able to log in to the portal to see all the available choices for your home, as well as the cost of any add-ons you would like. The best way to begin is by choosing the style you want for your kitchen and bathroom. Then you can choose the details within that style and find your favourite combination. However, you cannot mix and match products from different style packages. Finally, make the additional choices for your home to add the icing on the cake. And remember, ultimately, your furniture and decorative details will transform your new residence into your unique home. Harmoni – Basic design

Tips on styles and materials from the Sundling Kickén design duo The kitchen is typically a room you will live with for a long

time. That’s why a long-term approach is best when choosing materials, functionality and design. We think the kitchen should function in daily life while also matching the overall style of your home. This starting point may not make your choices any easier, but we will try to help you out along the way with our favourites.

Elin Kickén “A countertop with a concrete look has vibrancy that I really like. I would choose kitchen cabinets in a warm colour as a soothing base. Chrome details feel spot-on.”

Eva Lotta Sundling “The floor is the base of the home, and light-coloured parquet floors bring a feeling of lightness next to greige or chalk white walls. I choose chrome pulls!”

White is always white White cabinets will never go out of style and they match everything. That’s why flat-front white cabinets are our first choice. For a bit more interest, we would add the light laminate countertop that resembles white-stained wood; the wood grain brings a touch of vitality. For the finishing touch, we recommend chrome knobs, whose cool metal marries beautifully with the other materials. The walls will look wonderful painted in a colour from a natural palette, to frame the white kitchen and emphasise the countertop. Another good idea is to break away from the palette entirely and furnish the room with a dining set in dark or blackstained oak for a striking effect. Trendy and timeless If you want to take things a different direction, a nature-infused kitchen with plenty of wood may be right for you. Starting with flat-front cabinets and straight lines, you can create a timeless look that sets the tone immediately. By skipping tile and opting for a backsplash and countertop in the same colour and material instead, you can create a different effect altogether. The overall look is warm, trendy, timeless and easy to care for – resulting in a kitchen that withstands the test of time. Push-to-open cabinets give the kitchen a clean, pared-down look. Colour and textiles

Adding wall colour and textiles is always a wonderful way to soften up your kitchen and make it more inviting. We love a tone-on-tone look to create harmony and an elegant setting for your kitchen decor. This will also create a foundation that feels carefully considered and understated, allowing your kitchen to truly come into its own. With furniture and details that are easy to change, you can pull out all the stops with contrasting colours, and add a personal touch to your kitchen.

Plants can feel as if they have personalities, and as we care for them, they improve our well-being.

Plants improve our homes and well-being It’s entirely natural to see plants as living beings to which we create relationships. They bring a familiar and homely feeling to your new home. Just as we intuitively know what styles we like, we prefer some plants over others. Geraniums might remind us of Grandma’s lovely veranda, or a lush palm tree might be something we’ve always dreamt of. Interest in plants grows by the year, and cultivating our green friends is becoming an increasingly important, relaxing and creative part of how we furnish our homes. Decorate with plants Plants and the how we present them can truly reinforce a given style, and never before have so many choices been available when it comes to furniture designed for this very purpose. Pedestals and wall shelves give us plenty of room to play when it comes to placement, while elevating plants to decorative new heights that also bring them more light. Another growing trend is the desire for bigger, tree-like plants that lend character and a sense of excitement to a room. Two favourites, irrespective of trends, are the monstera, with its distinctive deep-green leaves, and the fresh green leaves of the fig tree – both are popular classics that work well with most styles. Which plants are right for you? All plants need light, but some are extra sensitive to direct sunlight. So it’s best to choose plants that will thrive in the light they will get, depending on the direction the room faces. As for watering, some plants want to be watered often and may be less suitable if you travel frequently, while others are hardier and can survive for two weeks without water. But plants are like people: make your choice based on personal chemistry and first impressions, and see if you thrive together!

Create your home – step by step Step 1. Inspiration and guidance In this magazine, you have been able to see and read about the interior design options we offer for your new home. We hope you have been inspired and found your favourite kitchen and bathroom styles.

If you, the buyer, have chosen add-on options for a fee, a special contract will be signed between you, as the buyer, and Riksbyggen (the Tenant-owners’ association is therefore not part of this contract). A list of add-on options for a fee will be added as an appendix to the contract.

To help you select your interior design details, in addition to this magazine, you can consult Riksbyggen’s interior design portal. You can use this tool to create a visual p icture of how your new kitchen and bathroom will look. Try out the different styles and explore the various cabinets, pulls, countertops and tiles in different combinations. You can find the portal on our project website. When it is time to make your interior design selections, you will be able to log in to the portal to see all the available choices for your home, as well as the cost of any add-ons you would like.

A partial payment of 20% of the cost of all add-on options will be invoiced after the main order has been signed, i.e., when both the order confirmation is confirmed and the add-on contract has been signed, if applicable. The remaining amount for add-on options will be paid in conjunction with taking possession of the home.

In our showroom exhibit, you can see and touch the various materials included in the project. The showroom exhibit is available during the selection period for your interior design choices. Prior to this period, Riksbyggen will announce where the showroom exhibit will be and when it can be visited. Step 2. Ordering It is easy to place your order in the log-in version of Riksbyggen’s Interior design portal. Click the style you have chosen for your kitchen and choose the details, and then do the same for the bathroom. Finally, choose the additional details for your home. When you are finished making all of your interior design choices, they will be listed in the portal (including both free options, and add-on options for a fee), and then you will confirm them either with an electronic signature or a physical signature. Step 3. Terms and conditions and Invoicing For the contract, your interior design choices will be divided into free options (including basic design) and addon selections for a fee. If you choose all free options, these are included in the cost of the construction contract (in which the Tenant-owners’ association and Riksbyggen are parties) and an additional Add-on contract does not need to be signed.

Breach of contract If for any reason you do not fulfil the purchase of your new home without the right to do so, as a buyer, you will compensate Riksbyggen for damages incurred due to the breach of contract as follows. 1. The buyer shall compensate Riksbyggen with an amount corresponding to the total cost the buyer would have paid for the add-on for a fee options. 2. In addition, the buyer shall pay a penalty to Riksbyggen in accordance with the following: • For interior design choices amounting to a total sum for all add-on options of SEK 19,999 incl. VAT, the buyer shall pay Riksbyggen a penalty of SEK 5,000. • For interior design choices amounting to a total sum for all add-on options of SEK 20,000 incl. VAT or more, the buyer shall pay Riksbyggen a penalty of SEK 10,000. Reservations Riksbyggen is not responsible for any printing errors or errors in writing, or for any product images that may differ from the actual appearance. Riksbyggen also reserves the right to make changes due to, for example, supplier changes to the assortment or model names. In such cases, the buyer will be offered an equivalent product if possible.
