The movie ”Lilla Spöket Laban spökar igen” premiered in 2024!
The Little Ghost Laban returned to cinemas in a brand-new animated film that premiered in October 2024. The film is directed by Lasse Persson with a script written by Jan Vierth, Anders Sparring and Lena Ollmark. It is produced by Art & Bob in co-production with SF Studios, Slugger Film and Film i Skåne. SF Studios distributes the film in the Nordics, with premieres at the end of 2024 in Norway, Denmark and Finland, and in October 2025 in Belgium.
The film will be available on Netflix at Halloween 2025!

Inger & Lasse Sandberg
Inger and Lasse Sandberg got married in 1950 and were not only lifepartners, they were also co-writers. Together they wrote and illustrated over 100 books. Their first breakthrough was the story about Little Anna & The Tall Man in 1964. Since then, several characters, such as Little Ghost Laban and Thumbkin, have become classics.
Lasse Sandberg passed away in 2008, and Inger Sandberg in 2023.
Until this day, Lasse and Inger are still considered one of Sweden’s most popular illustrators and children’s book authors.
