Principal’s welcome message Parents and Carers It doesn’t seem long since I last wrote to you last in the WIA:Insight; five weeks have whistled past and the Easter Break is upon us. With public examinations looming our students in Years 10-13 continue to flourish as we focus on achieving another year of strong results. Year 12 and 13 have just finished mocks, year 10 have undergone a gruelling set of Science Controlled Assignments and Year 11 are mid-way through their ‘100 Day revision strategy’. This edition of the Insight shows the rich diversity of experiences and achievements of our students, including the Ski Trip and New York Trip; a barnstorming ‘Upload Live’, AS and A Level Music and Drama performances, and many sporting successes. Also this term, many of our students participated in the BBC Young Reporters scheme with a varied range of news items. Continued on page 2..
