“Poor behaviour during unstructured time is becoming a big cause for concern and is very stressful. It is heart-breaking to see the damage being done to the school and it is hard to deal with rude, defiant students on a daily basis. WIA Teacher

What is the aim of the Ridings’ Federation of Academies?

Aim of the Ridings’ Federation:

For WIA to become at least a Good school, and to help YIA (including WPP) become at least a Good school, as quickly as possible. Your child’s future depends upon it

Attract and retain great staff

My role… Maximise the chances of your child realising their dreams and ambitions

…to rebuild the reputation of Winterbourne International Academy and the Ridings’ Federation

Recover financial loss and develop the quality of the site Ensure your child gets opportunities just because they go to a RFA school.

‘Destination’: at least Good

All Perspectives

TRFA academies are not the same as each other but they work together to serve their local community, achieving more together, and at a quicker rate, than they could if working in isolation. Spur each other on not wear each other out.
