Welcome
We’re thrilled to be back celebrating the 12th annual Under the Harvest Moon gala at Hazeltine! The last time we gathered in person for this event was in 2019. There’s nothing like celebrating face-to-face once again.
Under the Harvest Moon is an opportunity for us to come together to raise money for our Cause for the Community campaign. This multi-year initiative will enhance nearly every area within Ridgeview. This includes adding programs and services to treat patients with more advanced needs, increasing the number of inpatient beds to ensure everyone has room to be treated, and strengthening Ridgeview Clinics and Urgent Care sites. It’s the largest fundraising campaign in Ridgeview’s history, and we’re so happy you’re supporting it.
We kicked off the Cause for the Community campaign in June and have already raised enough funds to increase the number of advanced monitoring systems (telemetry) to ensure patients don’t have to travel far for advanced care. Now, we’re focused on raising the funds needed to enhance our simulation program. Here’s why:
• Simulation is critical in any successful health care system, as it allows clinicians to replicate many aspects of a clinical situation in a realistic way.
• It provides a risk-free experience so clinicians can fine-tune their skills, practice advanced techniques and develop cohesive teams.
• Simulation results in improved patient safety and expanded clinical capabilities, allowing us to provide more complex care to patients right here at Ridgeview.
You are an important part of the success of our Cause for the Community campaign, and we are forever grateful for your support.
With gratitude, Michael Phelps President & CEO, Ridgeview

Dessert Dash
What dessert will your table receive? It will depend on how much you’re willing to donate and how fast you are on your feet!
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS
New this year: Help choose the “People’s Choice” for best-looking dessert. Write the dessert number on the chip you receive at registration and drop it in the bucket on the dessert table. Voting ends at 8:00 p.m.

As a table, determine your top three choices of desserts. When prompted, pass the sheet around the table and fill in your bid number and the amount your table is willing to donate for your dessert.
Total the amount of the donation for your table. A volunteer will pick up your bid card.
Select one person to be Dessert Dasher! Tables with the highest bid will be announced first. Listen for Ian to call your table number and have your appointed “Dessert Dasher” dash to grab your favorite dessert—don’t be slow!
Enjoy your dessert!

Phase 1: Simulation
Simulation is a critical component in any successful health care system. Simulation training is a technique that replicates many aspects of a clinical situation in a realistic way. It provides a risk-free experience so clinicians can fine-tune their skills, practice advanced techniques and develop cohesive clinical teams. This results in improved patient safety and expanded clinical capabilities, so we can provide more complex care to patients close to home.
Our Cause for the Community campaign will allow us to add simulators, increase our simulation space and enhance our audio/ video capabilities to allow for more advanced training.

Auction Agreement
1. Each guest will be given a bid card. To bid in the live auction, hold your bid card up high with the number toward the auctioneer. By bidding in the live auction, you agree to be bound by the terms of this auction agreement.
2. The auctioneer reserves the right to add or withdraw items to or from the auction without notice.
3. A bid acknowledged by the auctioneer is a legal contract to purchase the item if the bid is the final, winning bid. If you bid on an item and win it, you agree to pay for the item won, in full, by the end of the evening.
4. Each auction item will be awarded to one purchaser only. A purchaser who wishes to split the payment for an auction item must pay for the item, in full, and then seek reimbursement from the other participants.
5. All purchases are final and there are no refunds. Further, no exchanges or substitutions are allowed unless the description of an item expressly provides for one. No refunds will be allowed on travel packages for canceled tickets or accommodations.
6. Unless the description of an item expressly provides otherwise, all vacations and services must be claimed and used within one year of the auction date and all vacation accommodations must be mutually agreed upon with the donor.
7. All items are sold “as is.” Ridgeview Foundation disclaims all express and implied warranties including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. If you purchase an item you waive all claims for damages and liability against Ridgeview Foundation, Ridgeview, and the donor of the item that arise or may arise, in whole or part, from the utilization of the property or services you purchased.
8. You are responsible for locating and removing your purchases from the auction premises before the end of the evening. If you purchase a service or other nontangible item and the certificate for the item is not available at the auction, it will be mailed to you within one week of the auction.
9. We will gladly accept your payment by cash, check or credit card. Please make your check payable to Ridgeview Foundation. Winning bidders who have registered their credit cards at registration will have their credit cards billed for their auction totals at the end of the evening unless other payment arrangements have been made. Payments are tax deductible as a charitable contribution only to the extent provided by law. Generally, you may deduct as a charitable contribution the amount you pay above the fair market value of the item purchased. Please consult your tax professional.
