WELCOME

It’s our 10th Annual Under the Harvest Moon event and we’re so happy you are joining us! Whether or not you’re wearing your finest diamonds or your fanciest denim, we’re looking forward to a fun evening.

The field of medicine has advanced significantly in the last 10 years. We’ve seen medical breakthroughs in gene therapy, 3D-printed body parts, synthetic cells, and new treatments for a variety of conditions like hepatitis C, cancers, cataracts and headaches.

Our community continues to change, too. Since our first Under the Harvest Moon event 10 years ago, we’ve welcomed new residents to our area, and welcomed new clinics and hospitals to our Ridgeview family. To meet the needs of our growing community, we must continue to grow ourselves. This means providing new tools and technology to give our community the most advanced health care options.

Your participation in our 10th Annual Under the Harvest Moon event will help us ensure our neighbors and friends don’t have to travel far for quality health care. Proceeds from this event will go toward a purchase of the latest technological iteration, the da Vinci® surgical robot. This robot, replacing the outdated da Vinci®, will allow our experienced surgeons to conduct minimally invasive surgery for patients undergoing a variety of complex procedures.

This distinguished group of benefactors helps to enhance the health and well-being of the people in the communities served

by Ridgeview. Founder’s Society members make individual commitments of $10,000 or greater, which can be paid at one time or through a payment program over a period of years. There are almost 400 Founder’s Society members who cumulatively have gifted or committed more than $29 million and have nearly $5.7 million in outstanding pledges.

How to Become a Member: Gifts may be made in the form of cash, publicly traded securities, appreciated property and, if appropriate, in-kind gifts. Most often, naming opportunities will exist at various levels within each campaign. Commitments can be paid over a period of years or in a one-time gift.

PROVIDER PHILANTHROPY COUNCIL

The Provider Philanthropy Council (PPC) is a dedicated group of Ridgeview and affiliated physicians who serve as champions and role models to their peer physician groups and are essential in establishing philanthropy as a central principle of the Ridgeview mission. PPC members also work diligently to maximize the power of grateful patient philanthropy by encouraging Ridgeview Foundation’s Grateful Patient Program.

RIDGEVIEW FRIENDS & FAMILY

Ridgeview Friends & Family, Ridgeview Foundation’s largest giving club, combines community members and employees in a collaborative effort to support Ridgeview. It is the anchor of the annual fund, with more than 800 donors. The Ridgeview Friends & Family program is a gateway to benefit friends, family, neighbors and community for generations to come. It’s about collaboration—coming together to accomplish projects never thought possible!

How to Become a Member: A gift of $100 or more annually qualifies you for membership in Ridgeview Friends & Family.

Employees who participate in the Employee Giving Program at any giving level are also eligible for membership.

AUCTION AGREEMENT

1. Each guest will be given a bid card.To bid in the live auction, hold your bid card up high with the number toward the auctioneer. By bidding in the live auction, you agree to be bound by the terms of this auction agreement.

2. The Auctioneer reserves the right to add or withdraw items to or from the auction without notice.

3. A bid acknowledged by the auctioneer is a legal contract to purchase the item if the bid is the final, winning bid. If you bid on an item and win it, you agree to pay for the item won, in full, by the end of the evening.

4. Each auction item will be awarded to one purchaser only. A purchaser who wishes to split the payment for an auction item must pay for the item, in full, and then seek reimbursement from the other participants.

5. All purchases are final and there are no refunds. Further, no exchanges or substitutions are allowed unless the description of an item expressly provides for one. No refunds will be allowed on travel packages for canceled tickets or accommodations.

6. Unless the description of an item expressly provides otherwise, all vacations and services must be claimed and used within one year of the auction date and all vacation accommodations must be mutually agreed upon with the donor.

7. All items are sold “as is.� Ridgeview Foundation disclaims all express and implied warranties including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

If you purchase an item you waive all claims for damages and liability against Ridgeview Foundation, Ridgeview, and the donor of the item that arise or may arise, in whole or part, from the utilization of the property or services you purchased.

8. You are responsible for locating and removing your purchases from the auction premises before the end of the evening. If you purchase a service or other nontangible item and the certificate for the item is not available at the auction, it will be mailed to you within one week of the auction.

9. We will gladly accept your payment by cash, check or credit card. Please make your check payable to Ridgeview Foundation. Winning bidders who have registered their credit cards at registration will have their credit cards billed for their auction totals at the end of the evening unless other payment arrangements have been made. Payments are tax deductible as a charitable contribution only to the extent provided by law.
