Le Sueur Area Healthcare Foundation Partners with Ridgeview Foundation As a nonprofit, independent organization, nearly all of Ridgeview Le Sueur’s revenue is required to maintain operations, leaving a very small percentage to invest in technology, facilities and new services. Thanks to the generous financial support of donors, Ridgeview Le Sueur benefits from the Foundation’s contributions to provide essential services to the patients and community.

Since the creation of the Foundation more than 50 years ago, the Foundation has worked to support local care. These projects were funded in part or whole by the Foundation: • • • • • •

Prairie wing addition of the nursing home Buy a bed program for the nursing home Bariatric beds for the nursing home Blood analyzer for the lab The nursing home garden Beyond the Build renovation of the hospital and Emergency Department

Formerly Minnesota Valley Health Center, the Le Sueur campus affiliated with Ridgeview Medical Center in January 2017. Our community’s population is rapidly growing and becoming more diverse. Ridgeview Le Sueur Medical Center’s leadership, care team and staff will continue to strive for additional and better care facilities, services and technology. Support from donors is more important now than ever before.

Our Mission:

The mission of the Le Sueur Area Healthcare Foundation, formerly known as the Minnesota Valley Memorial Foundation, is to support and enhance the services provided to the community by Ridgeview Le Sueur Medical Center.

The Foundation, an independent non-profit organization, is guided by a volunteer board of directors who represent the communities within Ridgeview Le Sueur’s service area. The Foundation Board of Directors and the staff at Ridgeview Le Sueur Medical Center collaborate to identify funding priorities for the organization.
