INTRODUCTION
Welcome,
RideTo was founded in 2016 after my experience and frustration from the challenge of learning to ride as a modern day consumer. My journey to getting on two wheels was far more confusing, time consuming and often disappointing than it needed to be. The process (which often now starts online) to understanding licensing laws, booking training and identifying what a good school looks like online was not easily accessible. I felt the process and experience was enough to potentially put some people off learning to ride altogether, something which is detrimental to our industry and also meant potential new riders might never experience the actual joy and freedom of riding. Something needed to be done.
Soon after launch we found that a lot of challenges existed, specifically within the delivery rider market. With large delivery companies struggling to recruit new delivery riders and for the riders themselves; a complex and expensive process for starting work in the industry. We’ve since come to focus heavily on this industry, working with many household delivery and fast food brands to help delivery riders get on the road safer and more efficiently.

We’ve made it our mission over the past 7 years to make getting on wheels safer and easier and have done this by partnering with the best motorcycle training schools across the UK. Over the past 12 months we’ve already established a coverage of more than 20 cities across the UK.
We passionately believe the process of learning to ride and the journey from new to experienced rider can be made more accessible, safer and appealing to a wider market through the power of technology, something the industry critically needs in order to continue to exist and flourish in the UK. I hope this introduction pack provides some insight into that mission and the value we provide to our fast growing network of partner schools.
Best wishes,
James Founder

PARTNERING WITH RIDETO
Leading motorcycle training schools are choosing to partner with RideTo every week to grow their business, spend less time on office admin, utilise industry leading technology and access a UK wide network of corporate partners.
What we look for
Who we partner with is one of the most important decisions we make as a company. We don’t claim to be an industry accreditation scheme but as an extension of our brand and service to corporate partners, it’s vital we work with the best. Our trained Partner Managers have on average more than 10 years experience in the industry, having visited many training schools they know what good looks like. We’ll always come and meet a new partner face to face to ensure it can be a fit both ways before working together.
Accepting Orders
Over the past 7 years we’ve streamlined the process of partnering with RideTo to be as simple as possible. Our aim is to remove the time spent by partner schools on office and admin tasks, so you can focus on what you love; teaching people to ride.
There are two ways we manage bookings with partner schools depending on whether you use our online diary: (1) Partner schools with the online diary have a fully automated process; (2) schools not using the online diary work on a manual order request basis.

Our aim is to remove the time spent by partner schools on office and admin tasks, so you can focus on what you love; teaching people to ride.

GETTING PAID
Cash flow is one of the most important elements to running a successful business. We found that many schools have often had bad experiences working with corporate companies when it comes to getting paid on time.
For this reason, and for simplicity, we’ve integrated instant online payment software Stripe to our platform to ensure that the moment you receive a booking from us, the money for that booking is being transferred to your account.
Stripe links to your bank account and can be set to payout to your bank on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, giving you complete visibility on payments for the work you’ve done.

You can learn more about the Stripe payment platform at www.stripe.com

At the start of our partnership, RideTo Partner Managers will establish a discounted market rate which we will then pay you for every rider that we send to you. Agreeing this rate upfront for the training provided through our platform means we both know where we stand. It also ensures there’s a stable financial agreement in place for a quality level of training to be provided to

CASE STUDIES
Papillon Rider Training
Manchester
Papillion Motorcycle Safety
Ltd offers modern, friendly and professional motorcycle training in Manchester. As one of the new leading motorcycle training schools in Manchester they also provide services for Local Authorities, The Princess Trust and Barnardos.
Q. What have you found most useful by partnering with RideTo?
RideTo has been instrumental in filling empty slots in our calendar. It’s rare an ATB can run close to 100% capacity year round, however working with RideTo has proven to be both flexible and valuable in helping us achieve this. We’ve established a steady stream of clients through an efficient and professional partnership.
Q. How would you measure the impact partnering with RideTo has had on your business?
The main impact from partnering with RideTo has been an increase in sales and profitability for the company. As a steady additional channel for us to access new clients, it’s meant we’ve managed to increase the revenue of the business whilst maintaining the same operational costs. Access to a wider network of different types of rider who might not otherwise had access to has also been very positive.
Q. What advice would you give to other motorcycle training schools considering partnering with RideTo?
It’s the best trial we’ve taken. I was unsure at first as with anything new when they promise you the earth but rarely deliver. However RideTo has delivered and I believe it’s only getting started in terms of the value they can bring to our ATB with their software and additional clients. I’d highly recommend to another ATB - providing they aren’t in my area ;).

“we’ve managed to increase the revenue of the business whilst maintaining the same operational costs”
Universal Motorcycle Training
LONDON
Universal Motorcycle Training are one of London’s leading motorcycle schools.
MCIAC Gold accredited and partnerships with some of London’s leading companies, Universal were one of the early adopters to joining RideTo.
Q. What have you found most useful by partnering with RideTo?
From a business perspective, partnering with RideTo is like finding a partner to enhance your resource utilisation, and filling up classes with quality clients who are mostly pre-educated regarding what they have embarked upon. In addition: Hassle-free bookings.
Q. How would you measure the impact partnering with RideTo has had on your business?
An increase of at least 10% on bookings (for a large ATB). For us it’s been around 70 - 90 bookings per month.
Q. What advice would you give to other motorcycle training schools considering partnering with RideTo?
Don’t hesitate in becoming a RideTo partner, it’s the best partnership we’ve chosen to make.

Q. Any other comments?
RideTo is an incredible platform who’s only way is up. We can now continue with our expansion program in terms of sites, without having to worry too much about where the clients will be coming from, we know: RideTo.
“it’s the best partnership we’ve chosen to make.”
Solo Motorcycle Training BIRMINGHAM
Solo Motorcycle Training have been teaching people to ride for over 10 years. With multiple training locations across Birmingham they are well known for delivering excellent training.
Q. What have you found most useful by partnering with RideTo?
The most useful thing that RideTo do is all the hard work. Students come to us on time, aware of what the day holds for them and correctly dressed.
Q. How would you measure the impact partnering with RideTo has had on your business?
We measure the impact partnering with RideTo has had on our business by the number of students we’re sent each week. Because of the way RideTo operates most of these students wouldn’t have chosen us as a business. It has led us to re-evaluate our own advertising and promotional material. We now also have an online booking tool on our website thanks to the RideTo software.
Q. What advice would you give to other motorcycle training schools considering partnering with RideTo?
I’d strongly advise other schools to consider using a third party like RideTo to drive students their way because for a small fee per student you eliminate the hassle of missed calls, taking payments over the phone and for those that work in inner city areas, the stress that comes with language barriers. I hope my partnership with RideTo continues for many years.

RideTo Connect
Modern software built for modern motorcycle training
Over the past 7 years we’ve developed an in-house custom software to run the RideTo platform. Due to the rapid growth and high volume of riders we had through our platform, it was vital to have a robust system in place to automate the majority of our business processes and allow us to deliver exceptional rider experiences with a small team.
We quickly found what we had built could be of significant value to our partner schools and have since launched RideTo Connect, the free diary management and CRM software for motorcycle training schools. Our purpose with RideTo Connect is simple, to reduce the time spent by school owners on admin, so you can do more of what you love: teaching people to ride safely.

CASE STUDIES
Motorcycle Training Wales
Cardiff
Motorcycle Training Wales are one of the largest schools in South Wales. By using RideTo Connect they’ve been able to gain better visibility on the operations across both their training sites. Being able to quickly view multiple training sites, courses and instructor availability is a key requirement for them. Adopting RideTo Connect is helping the school improve operations and offer a modern and easy way for their customers to book online.
More and more training schools are adopting the most innovative software in the market to save time and improve customer experience.
Using the RideTo Connect software has given Motorcycle Training Wales another channel for our customers to book through. As a busy ATB it can be a challenge to keep up with the influx of customer calls at peak times. By providing online booking to our customers using the RideTo Connect software, it has allowed us to take more bookings and not lose out on those who might otherwise go to another school. It’s absolutely useful to the customer as well, providing an easy way for them to book on our website.
As the booking software connects with the RideTo platform, we have all our order information and diary in one place, which is very useful. We’re working closely with RideTo to build new features into the Connect platform which will help us further improve other operational processes in our company.

“ RideTo Connect booking software on our website has been a complete game changer for us ”

BLT Motorcycle Training LONDON
Since partnering with RideTo, BLT have seen their student numbers increase 4 fold. The adoption of RideTo Connect has allowed the school to expand their training capacity and better manage the availability of their courses, instructors and bikes.
Adopting the RideTo Connect booking software on our website has been a complete game changer for us. As soon as it went live we had our first online booking within 5 minutes! Showing there was clearly a demand for the service from our customers on our website. As an early adopter of the Connect software it’s been working well for us, it’s much easier for the customer to book online and for them to see our availability in the calendar rather than trying to find a time to call us on the phone.
RideTo connect would be great for other ATBs to help organise their diaries, most importantly customers are happy and the payments are quick.
Barry BLT Motorcycle Training
MSM Motorcycle Training MANCHESTER
MSM Motorcycle Training in Manchester adopted the RideTo Connect system to help grow their business and manage the busy weekly schedule of training. The software instantly made an impact on the business, opening up a new stream of customers being able to book online and outside of office hours.
Adopting an online booking software was a big decision for us and we had our concerns. However the RideTo Connect system has proven to be a great decision for us, clearly increasing the number of orders we get, almost immediately. We’re now able to receive out of hours bookings from customers who were likely to go elsewhere in the past.
Specific features such as asking for riding experience and clearly outlining the terms of training mean the customers are presented with all the information we take over the phone.
Using the online calendar to manage our courses and schedule is also providing us with more visibility and flexibility day to day. If we see an increase in demand, it’s easy to add in additional courses and quickly fill the spaces via our website and the RideTo platform. I can see exactly what’s happening each week and access this information from anywhere.
Customers have shown this an overdue service which all ATBs should be offering. I’d highly recommend the RideTo Connect software for meeting customers expectations of a modern, easy to use booking software.
