G raduate Scholarships & Assistantships

All international graduate students receive a $2000 Travel Grant. Additional scholarships are available based on prior academic performance. Graduate assistantships are competitive and limited in number; students can apply upon arrival at Rider. Assistantships do not cover the full cost of attendance.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Depending upon your intended program of study and visa needs, the following items must also be submitted as part of your application for admission:

NORM BRODSKY COLLEGE OF BUSINESS

» Official results of the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE) are required. (NOTE: May be waived for qualified applicants.)

COLLEGE OF EDUCATION & HUMAN SERVICES

Completed applications must be submitted at least 3 weeks prior to audition dates . Choral Conducting applicants must submit a pre-screening recording by December 1

BASIC ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

All prospective graduate students are required to submit the following:

1. Graduate Application for Admission (apply online at rider.edu/admissions )

2. USD 75 nonrefundable application fee

3. Statement of aims and objectives (personal statement)

4. Current résumé

5. Official transcripts, marksheets and additional academic documents (including graduation certificates and degree certificates) from all post-secondary institutions attended. If not in English, an English translation must also be supplied.

6. Proof of English required for non-native speakers of English (iBT: 79; IELTS: 6.5; Duolingo 100)

If your previous institution was outside the United States, you will be required to obtain a course-by-course evaluation of your credits by a credential evaluation service that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). Degree-seeking graduate students are invited, but not required, to live on campus. A wide range of housing accommodations is available.
