BEFORE YOUR AUDITION » Complete your audition form through your Be A Bronc Applicant Dashboard checklist. » If you haven't completed, please upload a headshot and artistic resume to your application dashboard through Portfolio. » Bring one copy of your headshot and resume to the audition. » Refer to your Be a Bronc Dashboard for your audition time.

AUDITION AND INTERVIEW INFORMATION B.F.A. MUSICAL THEATRE: » Dance Call: » Prior to your audition, please learn the Jazz & Ballet Combination taught by faculty member Robin Lewis. Students are expected to know the dance combination prior to their audition. » rider.edu/dancecombination » Download the music for the combination at: » rider.edu/combomusicslow (slow speed) » rider.edu/combinationmusic (normal speed) » Your dance call will be held at the beginning of the day » You may complete the dance call in jazz or ballet shoes » Please come prepared to move and have fun! » Individual Auditions: » You may sing the same songs from your pre-screen video or choose a different song entirely. Sing what you sing best. You may be asked to sing only one of your songs. You also may be asked to sing something pop or contemporary, so please be prepared if asked. » Please prepare your same monologue from your pre-screen video. » Please bring your sheet music.

B.F.A. ACTING FOR FILM, TELEVISION, AND THEATRE: » Audition Materials: » Prior to your audition, please upload video recordings of you performing the same monologues you prepared for your Rider audition. » The video should be uploaded to your Be A Bronc Applicant Dashboard by the date of your audition » Your two contrasting monologues will be performed live » Each monologue should be no longer than one minute

B.A. THEATRE: DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY, THEATRE-MAKING » Prior to your live interview, please submit the following on your Be A Bronc Applicant dashboard, via Portfolio: » Design & Technology Concentration: » A current resume that includes your theatre experience » A portfolio or set of images that includes: » Images or drawings from theatre work (including work in progress) that shows your interest and abilities » You can also include other types of work that shows skills using tools, drawing, sketching, drafting, or image editing » Stage managers, please include samples of paperwork used to organize and run rehearsals or productions » Remember, we are looking for enthusiasm, interest, and potential. Don’t worry about perfection! » Theatre-Making Concentration: » Please upload a current resume of your recent theatrical activities and/or an artistic portfolio
