TEACHING BLOCK 1

Group work:

Recreated a famous artwork using things found on Campus

“OURSELVES”

A memorable activity in TB1 involved replicating a famous artwork using everyday objects we found around campus. This group activity challenged us to think creatively and test our resourcefulness. Initially, we thought the task would be straightforward, but we quickly realized how difficult it was to capture the essence of the artwork using only the things around us. After finding a picture of the artwork, we posed ourselves in a way that mimicked the scene, and later edited the background to match the original piece (Edward Much, The Scream). This experience taught me how perspective plays a huge role in creativity. It made me realize that, like in entrepreneurship, you need to view challenges from multiple angles and approach them with an open, inventive mindset. Ultimately, it reminded me that almost anything can be turned into art—or a business opportunity—if I have the right mindset and approach

EDVARD MUNCH, THE SCREAM (1893)

WEEK 1

Self Introspected my own passios and confidence regarding various things of my life, YES on DAY 1. Also went out to sell people ideas in groups and then asked them to invest in our business “Rent a friend” for a day.

One of the first activities in the course was writing about the things we are passionate & confident about and then engaging in a realworld simulation where we approached people to ask for investments in our business idea. This task was both intimidating and exciting. At first, I was uncertain about how to approach individuals, but as we began, I gained confidence in pitching our idea and learned the importance of clear and persuasive communication. Writing down the amounts that people were willing to invest on paper was both an eye-opener and a humbling experience, as it showed me that the entrepreneurial journey also involves convincing others about the value of your vision.

GROUP ASSIGNMENT PREPARATION MODE:

We also worked on a group assignment where we had to analyze three different countries to determine the best location for business expansion. At first, the task felt overwhelming—three countries, countless variables, and so many factors to consider. But as we dived into the research, I realized just how crucial teamwork and collaboration were to the process. Each of us took on different areas of research—markets, competitors, economic conditions, and cultural nuances—and it was incredible to see how, through working together, we started to piece everything together into a cohesive strategy. It made me realize that collaboration isn’t just about dividing tasks—it’s about recognizing the value in everyone’s input and combining those efforts to create something better than we could have achieved alone.

A funny and quirky video made using AI for the “Create Value Challenge”

TEACHING BLOCK 2

In TB2, one of the most transformative experiences was participating in the "Create Value" challenge, which truly expanded the way I think about entrepreneurship. The challenge was deceptively simple: come up with a creative business idea, like creating a helicopter out of lemonade. At first, it seemed absurd, and I found myself questioning how something meaningful could come out of such a strange prompt. But as we began brainstorming, I realized that this was less about the idea itself and more about thinking without limits—pushing boundaries, finding new ways to see everyday things, and challenging assumptions about what can or cannot work. My group decided to embrace the challenge by using AI to create a quirky and humorous video presentation. The video itself wasn’t necessarily groundbreaking, but what we gained from the process was invaluable. As we experimented with AI to generate content, it became clear how powerful technology could be in bringing an idea to life quickly and efficiently.

TEACHING BLOCK 2

The ability to create engaging visuals and narratives with AI was eye-opening. It was far less time-consuming than the traditional, manual methods of video production I was familiar with, and it highlighted how AI can be a game-changer for entrepreneurs looking to rapidly test and refine their ideas. While our video was humorous and light-hearted, it gave me a deeper appreciation for how technology can be harnessed to create something both creative and practical in a fraction of the time.

However, it was seeing the videos from other groups that truly changed my perspective. One, in particular, stood out: an artist turned spilled coffee into a masterpiece and sold it for an unexpectedly high value. This was a wake-up call for me—it showed that opportunities and ideas are all around us, even in the most mundane or seemingly useless things. It was a powerful reminder that entrepreneurship is about seeing potential where others might see nothing. It taught me that ideas don’t always have to be polished or grandiose; sometimes, the simplest things can be turned into something valuable with the right mindset and approach.

CHANGING VALUE PROPOSITION

FOR A TEA COMPANY IN UK?

Me and my team members after giving a presentation on PG Tips and proposing reusable Teabags for a change:

Similarly, there was this another quick class presentation where we worked on the Value Proposition Canvas for a tea bag company in UK. Our goal was to evaluate what the company was offering versus what customers truly wanted, and identify potential areas for improvement. We realized there was a significant opportunity to innovate the packaging, specifically by introducing reusable tea bags. In this task, we embraced the use of AI to generate fresh and compelling visual ideas for the packaging. Looking back, I realize that this exercise taught me the importance of combining creativity with technology in business. I developed critical skills in creative problem-solving, market analysis, and leveraging AI technology for business innovation.

Working on the Individual Assignment Coming back to the individual assignment in TB2, I further learnt the true potential of AI by analysing reviews to identify customer feedback. Furthermore, the process of brainstorming and developing a business value proposition was incredibly challenging yet rewarding. At first, it felt overwhelming to come up with something truly unique and viable, but the challenge pushed me to think outside the box and explore different angles that I wouldn’t have considered before.

Reflecting on this module, I realize how much I’ve grown in terms of my entrepreneurial mindset. I’ve learned that it’s not just about coming up with ideas but about embracing creativity and looking at the world in a way that allows me to identify hidden opportunities. I now understand that innovation often comes from unconventional places, and technology, like AI, can play a significant role in bringing these ideas to fruition. The course also taught me the importance of adaptability and creativity. Whether it was turning mundane objects into art or designing a new product packaging, I learned that successful entrepreneurs are those who can think outside the box and adapt to changing circumstances. This shift in thinking is something I’ll carry with me in the future, both in my entrepreneurial pursuits and in my approach to problem-solving in any career path I choose.
