Q&A
What has been your greatest achievement(s) within the past year?
While attending law school at Touro Law Center, I had the opportunity to intern for a domestic violence clinic. During my internship, I learned from seasoned attorneys how to protect and fight for women who were the victims of domestic violence. I listened to their stories and their desperation to escape abusive relationships. I was fortunate to work with these women to help them obtain Orders of Protection in Family Court, which was generally their first step in a journey to end their marriage. Their bravery and courage to come forward inspired me to dedicate my legal career to working in the family and matrimonial field, helping spouses end difficult and, at times, dangerous relationships, while securing them for the future.

Q&A
If you weren’t in the industry you’re in now, where would you be?
If I wasn’t a lawyer, I believe I would have a role in higher education, whether it be in teaching or administration. As a higher education attorney, I see all the amazing things colleges and universities offer current and future students and I would welcome the opportunity to be a part of that.
