BUSINESS LITIGATION AND CONTRACTS

Steven Levitt is principal and founding partner of Mineola firm Levitt LLP. He focuses on business disputes and corporate law.

In civil litigation, he has tried and/or resolved nearly $2.8 billion of complex, highly technical business, contract, business divorce, and trade secret disputes in courts and arbitrations nationally and internationally. He has won numerous cases at the appellate level, including before the New York Court of Appeals, and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeals.

Business representations include: L3 Harris, Mercury Systems, GFI Capital Resources Group, Snapple Beverages, Hartz Mountain Industries, East Coast Petroleum, law firms, accounting firms, and medical practices.

Past party opponents include the Sultan of Brunei, the Sultan of Oman, Lockheed Martin, Serco, The Men’s Wearhouse, Kalitta Air, and real estate mogul John Fareri.

In corporate work, he assists companies spanning from Fortune 150 to regional and family-owned businesses on multi-million dollar transactions and real estate.

Scott serves on the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Village of Muttontown.
