Partner & EVP, TRITEC Real Estate Chairman, Empire State Development Kevin S. Law joined TRITEC Real Estate Company in April 2021 as Executive Vice President and Partner, where he has become an integral part of the TRITEC development team and chairs the TRITEC Affordable Housing Team.

Prior to TRITEC, Kevin served a 10-year tenure as President and CEO of the Long Island Association (LIA), where he made the LIA one of the most respected business organizations in New York State. His efforts helped shape public policy locally and throughout the state. In this role, Kevin helped secure more than $5 billion to the Long Island region for infrastructure investments.

Kevin continues to serve our region and state in several capacities and remains passionate about the growth of Long Island and its affordable housing opportunities. He is the Chairman of the Stony Brook University Council and Chairman of the Long Island Housing Partnership. Most recently, Kevin was confirmed by the New York State Senate as a Director of the Empire State Development Corporation and has been designated as Chairman of Empire State Development by Governor Kathy Hochul.

Kevin received an Associate of Arts from Suffolk County Community College; a Bachelor of Arts from SUNY, Stony Brook University; a Master of Science from the Graduate School of Urban Affairs and Planning at CUNY, Hunter College; a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law; and he completed a Leadership Program at the John F. Specifically, has experience handling “zero net bond leasing” transactions and 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchange transactions. He also represents borrowers and lenders with respect to construction and permanent financing.

John also has experience with land use and zoning transactions, including representation of land developers of various projects ranging from change of zone petitions, variances, municipal hearings and IDA financing.

He is an active board member of Vision Long Island, and a proud member of the Long Island Association’s Young Professionals Committee. John is also an adjunct professor at Molloy University, where he teaches a course on Real Property.

Stephen A. Hayduk, P.E., has over 15 years of experience in consulting engineering.

Stephen was an adjunct professor at Stony Brook University for CIV 210 Land Surveying where he was responsible for teaching students the fundamentals of surveying in both lectures and field exercises. Stephen has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the States of New York and Connecticut.

Some of his professional honors include receiving the 2018 Young Engineer of the Year Award from NYSSPE – Long Island Chapter and the 2019 Rising Star Award from NYWEA Long Island Chapter.
