June nakamoto passed away quietly on august 27, 2016 at the age of 87. she was born in Vancouver in 1929, the youngest of 5 children. she obtained a Masters in nursing and dedicated herself to advocating for health care in Vancouver. she is predeceased by her sisters Mary and edie and many beloved friends and survived by her brother art, sister-in-law Dorothy, sister amy and many nieces and nephews.
