When he’s not sporting white overalls and purple converse sneakers, Ziggy Goldfarb has perfected his business casual-meets-streetwear look for his career in sales (with a side of pasta making!) at the Hayden Flour Mill. Most days, Goldfarb styles his self-described “dadbod” in pastels and trendy T-shirts. The busy father, husband and subject of the children’s book titled Ziggy’s Perfect Pickles shares, “I don’t even have enough time to wear all of my T-shirts but they are a way to share my love of art or to show my support for my friends’ businesses and projects.” To take his look from day to night, Goldfarb simply puts on an apron and gets in kitchen to cook for his family. With a passion for cooking, art and color, Goldfarb often heads to Phoenix Flea to meet designers and shop local vendors for clothing and other goods. He turns to social media for a dose of wardrobe inspiration, but also takes notice of what’s trending on the people around him. “The J.Crew mens (@jcrewmens) Instagram account is great as the styles are easily purchased from their online store,” Goldfarb says. “I find styles are much more achievable when I see a normal person wearing them as opposed to a celebrity.”

What is one of your favorite brands? I’ve been a fan of Lucky Jeans for years ever since I randomly walked into their old store on Mill Avenue. They are comfortable and fit great. Do you consider yourself a trendsetter? I don’t envision setting any trends, but any day that my wife doesn’t laugh at my outfit is a good day. What is your most prized possession in your closet? My wedding ring. It goes with every outfit! Oh, also my Pretty Snake cat sweater with 3D eyes.
