her style
A
s owner of Twice clothing store, Brittany Korey knows a thing or two about style. So, it is no surprise that when it comes to her own personal style, you will always find her on point. “My personal style varies all the time, depending on my mood. Right now, everything is about great jeans, T-shirts, and amazing shoes,” says Korey. Korey isn’t that into big high-end designers when it comes to her T-shirts, and she sticks to a few popular brands like J Brand and Rag & Bone when it comes to her jeans, but her shoes… her shoes are where you won’t find her skimping on the goods. “I spend a lot of money on my shoes and accessories. That is how I put my outfits together. I buy my shoes and put the rest of the pieces together after that point, adding key accessories.” Whether it is her six-inch heels for a night out on the town with friends or her favorite flip-flops for lounging around the house, shoes are definitely a focus for Korey. “Shoes are like my children, and my flip-flops are like my best friend. I can’t go cheap on my shoes at all—they are very important to me.”

Is there anyone in Hollywood whose style you think you emulate? The two that would come to mine would probably be a little of Kourtney Kardashian and a little Rachel Zoe. Where are some of your favorite hot spots to hit while dressing in style around town? A few of my favorites while I’m out and about are definitely City Hall and SumoMaya. If you had one piece of fashion advice to share with younger generations and friends, what would it be? The advice I would tell a younger generation or a friend would be to go with what looks best on you, and don’t always go with trends.
