he beauty destination revolutionizing the Valley will be celebrating their 1 Year Anniversary on October 19th. Offering the most cutting-edge techniques and treatments in a uniquely glamorous yet soothing setting, clients have flocked to The Hills Salon & Spa for its welcoming atmosphere, passionate staff and concierge service experience. Located in La Mirada shopping center in North Scottsdale, The Hills is owned by April Martinez, a long-time beauty industry veteran and visionary. Housed in the space that was formerly Tuscany Salon, the location underwent an extensive $200,000 renovation before opening. The 4,000-square-foot full-service salon & spa features 18 hair stations offering all types of hair services, with a specialty in hair extensions; 10 nail stations for nail services and nail art; five pedicure chairs; a skincare room; a spray tan and lash room; a makeup bar for makeup applications; a boutique with clothing and accessories; an IV station for drip services and a retail area offering hair care, skincare and body products from brands such as Aveda, Pureology, Mythic Oil, Alterna Cavier, PCA Skincare and L’Oréal. “We’re shattering the standards in beauty care here,”
says Martinez. “We’re passionate about our employees and clients, and offer unparalleled service. Our staff is required to participate in ongoing monthly industry training. And with our concierge experience, our clients can expect that we’ll do everything we can to take care of them while they are with us. If they are hungry, we’ll get them food. If they need a ride somewhere, we’ll arrange one. We’re all about the experience and results here.” In addition to its daily menu of services, The Hills offers workshops, such as consultations with visiting celebrity stylists. And of course, clients can always meet with one of the beauty specialists for a hair or makeup beauty analysis. The Hills will be celebrating their 1 Year Event in Style with a big party on Thursday, October 19th from 6pm - 9:00pm with a portion of proceeds benefiting the Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
