tylish and tailored describe the fashionable look one would see CEO and entrepreneur Moe Kittaneh sporting on any given day. “I prefer a more tailored, modern European look when it comes to professional clothing,” Kittaneh says. At the helm of two Scottsdale-based companies, as the CEO and founder of SVELTA Tan (www.sveltatan.com) and CFO and co-founder of Amerisleep (www.amerisleep.com), Kittaneh also says he stays at the forefront of patterns, colors and textures. While you’re not likely to find him dressed in a full suit at the office unless he has an important meeting, he’s always wearing nice dress pants and shirts from designers like Hugo Boss and Ben Sherman, high-quality shoes such as Chelsea boots, and accessories including stylish belts, rings and watches. Outside of the office, Kittaneh finds himself dressing a bit more adventurous. “I do more colors, flashier jewelry and mix designer pieces with metro-style looks.” The entrepreneur’s closet is also filled with a large cologne collection, as he finds himself constantly changing up his fragrance selection. “I am pretty selective about my signature scents. Having several options to choose from is a must to suit a particular mood or outfit.”
Who are some of your fashion inspirations? It changes quite a bit to be honest. The show “Suits” always has cutting-edge looks from top designers like Tom Ford, and I think people like David Beckham and Bradley Cooper have an interesting sense of style as well. Do you try to style yourself after any famous men? I draw inspiration from a lot of places and my own sense of style; I don’t necessarily have a particular style icon. Sometimes I’ll see interesting looks in men’s magazines, runways, social media or even on the street that inspire me to try something new. What advice would you give to young entrepreneurs? To always be passionate and excited about your work, or find a way to get excited about what you already do. It’s passion that will really motivate you to succeed and find your way.
