Also a member of the Professional Beauty Association (PBA), Ryan M Scottsdale is one of five salons in all of North America to be nominated for the North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) for Salon Design of the Year for 2020. “It’s the Oscars of the hair world, and we are very excited and grateful to even be nominated,” Ryan says. “I see long, glamorous hair and finger waves for the 2020 red carpet look. Body waves and natural curly texture are in. With such a demand for more texture in hair, we are seeing new perming techniques on the rise in the future, but not in the sense of those old-school perms. One-length bobs, flips, and layered cuts are also trending,” explains Ryan.
