He was born on March 27, 1982, in Richland Center the son of Kevin and Krystal (Jones) Wilkinson. Lyle was named after his grandfather. He attended Riverdale High School. In his early childhood Lyle developed a love of engines and going fast. He loved racing anything that had an engine and helping others work on their vehicles. Lyle had a heart of gold and would give the shirt off his back to help anyone he could Lyle found the love of his life Jamie Dobbs, and they became a family with Jamie’s children, and they joined in marriage on December 18, 2021. He loved to spend time in the garage with Tristan, Cody, and his friends, working on anything with an engine. Lyle was a Ford guy who enjoyed his Fox Body Mustangs. Lyle is survived by his wife Jamie Wilkinson of Muscoda; Step-children: Aaron (fiancé Jordan) Walton of Lone Rock, Tristan Deckert of Muscoda, Cody Deckert of Richland Center; Mother: Krystal (Mike) Elder of Muscoda; Father: Kevin Wilkinson of Muscoda; Brother: Ryan (Christina) Wilkinson of Muscoda; Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. Lyle was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts, uncles and his best friend and dog Lyric. Funeral services were held on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at 3:00 PM at the Godager Pratt Funeral Home in Muscoda Burial followed in the Basswood Cemetery. Visitation was held on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at the Godager Pratt Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 3:00 PM. Mildred Peterson, 98, of Richland Center passed away August 26, 2022, at Pine Valley Community Village. She was born April 16, 1924, the daughter of Ralph and Carrie (Havlik) Emerson. She married John B. Peterson on June 16, 1949. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Jim, brothers Glen, Joe and Harold, grandson Brandon, and many loving Emerson and Peterson family members. She is survived by her children, John (Linda) Peterson, Ron (Patty) Peterson and Connie (Fritz) Meyer. Grandchildren Jenny, Byron, Beth, Paul, Kelly, Andy, Brandi, Patrick, Laurel and Lindsay 22 great grandchildren Sister-in-laws Millie Rott, Sharon Peterson, Betty Emerson and Reba Emerson. As well as numerous other relatives and friends. Mildred was an active farm wife and a proud teacher spanning over 25 years for the Richland School District. Later in life, she enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s many school and sporting events, traveling to Wyoming, and their annual wagon train adventures. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Pine Valley Community Village staff for the excellent support and kind care they provided Mildred the past 13 years. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tammy Clausen officiating. A private burial will be held in the Button Cemetery at a later date. Visitation was held at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Saturday, September 3, 2022, from 9:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 11:00 AM. R. J. (Jim) Carley, 87, of Ithaca, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022, at the Richland Hospital. He was born May 21, 1935, in Eagle Township, the son of Ernest and Flossie (Holstead) Carley. Jim grew up on the family farm in Pleasant Valley, which was later purchased by the state of Wisconsin for Governor Dodge State Park. He started playing accordion when he was 7 years old and continued playing his entire life. Jim was a talented musician that played at many venues with many other talented musicians. Jim married Joan Christianson on April 17, 1954, in Dodgeville. Together they raised six children and consider home where they have been for the last 37 years in Ithaca. He loved to share his stories of the 1957 Ford car. Jim was raised with Allis Chalmers tractors. He enjoyed mowing and keeping the Keyesville Cemetery well groomed. He loved spending time with his family and his black labs. Jim is survived by his wife Joan; six children: Kenneth (Pat) Carley of VA Beach, VA, Jimmy Dean Carley of Viola, Kathleen Sophia Mattison (Scott Laage) of Gillingham, Duane (Konnie) Carley of Dodgeville, Kevin LeRoy Carley of Fox Lake, Phillip (Jackie) Carley of Ithaca; many grandchildren, great grandchildren; brother: Richard Carley of Ithaca; sister-in-law: Janet Carley of Mazomanie; beloved black lab: Gus; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
