After not feeling good for a while, L Linda Huffman and her husband, Ed, met with Dr. Jillian Scherer at the Spring Greeen Medical Center. Sadly, tests revealed d that Linda had colon cancer. “Dr. Scherrer told me that she would be with me every step of the way,” Linda said. Linda had surgery in Madison and then had her chemotherapy at the Richland Hospital. “I just can’t say enough about the care I received from the chemotherapy nurses, they were great” she said. “Dr. Scherer and her assistant Christy have been just fabulous. They have cheered me on every step of the way.” DR. SCHERER AND THE CHEMOTHERAPY TEAM

Make Worship A Part of Your Week

The Richland Center Fire Department members would like to express our sincere “THANK YOU” to all who contributed to the department’s annual fundraiser, or attended the Firefighters’ Dance at the White House/ Ramada Inn on October 10th. Your financial support allows the department to purchase and upgrade department equipment to safeguard both those we serve and our department personnel. Winners of the dance door prizes have been notified by department personnel. If you wish to send a donation to the department, please send it to: Richland Center Fire Department, 205 East Mill Street, Richland Center WI 53581. Now is the time to have your home heating system inspected for the upcoming heating season. Also take time to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
