Introducing Richland County’s New Community Calendar

Dear Chamber Members,
We’re excited to share a simple tool that makes life easier for residents and increases your business visibility. The BrandRichland Community Calendar is now live at BrandRichland. com/Events. First envisioned in the 2019 Mansfield Rising plan and delivered through the BrandRichland initiative, it consolidates countywide events into one platform, allowing people to plan in minutes.
This deployment was made financially possible by Destination Mansfield – Richland County. The Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development and Destination Mansfield –Richland County co-lead the BrandRichland initiative, and this calendar is a direct example of that partnership in action. Special thanks to DRM Productions for seamlessly integrating the calendar into the BrandRichland website.
Here is a brief overview of how it works. Yodel’s AI technology scans the websites and Facebook event pages of trusted local organizations, pulls key details like event type, date, location, and ticket or purchasing links, and places everything into one clean, searchable calendar at BrandRichland.com/Events. Organizers simply keep their event pages current, and the calendar follows.
As a resident, this means less searching and more doing. As a business, it means increased visibility, better coordination, and stronger attendance. If you would like to see a real-world example of how someone might plan a day using the calendar, read our new blog:

BrandRichland grew from the community vision outlined in the 2019 Mansfield Rising plan. The plan called for a unified way to share what is happening across our “family of communities” and to make it easier for residents and visitors to show up. BrandRichland was created to carry that vision forward and turn shared ideas into practical tools that strengthen pride of place and welcome new talent.
Since its inception, BrandRichland has been co-led by Destination Mansfield – Richland County and the Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development. Together, these partners have aligned marketing, tourism, and business engagement so the calendar you see today serves real needs across neighborhoods, venues, and organizations. Bringing the calendar to life on the web required strong technical support. DRM Productions provided vital assistance to deploy and integrate the feature on the BrandRichland website, ensuring a smooth experience that feels natural to use.
