Minor injuries plan revealed
Yate school top of the class in GCSE improvement league THE best GCSE exam results in the history of Brimsham Green School in Yate made it the most improved school in South Gloucestershire. When the results were revealed, they showed that 61 per cent of pupils achieved at least five top grade passes at GCSE or equivalent level, including in the important subjects of English and maths. The school also celebrated its students recording a 100 per cent pass rate at A-level. Meanwhile, Chipping Sodbury School announced that 75 per cent of its older students gained three good A-levels. The school also said the number of teenagers getting a large number of the highest A* and A-grades in GCSE exams had “grown impressively”. Yate International Academy was also pleased that 47 per cent of pupils got at least five top grade GCSEs, including English and maths. Main story Page 15.
