Today my girlfriend asked me to drive her home from college as she was sick. I used her moms car. When coming home on the arterial we were at a red light and I was getting ready to get in the right lane when the light turned green the SUV in front of me began to go then stopped suddenly, (still don't know why) As I was still crossing into the other lane the corner of my front bumper bumped her fender corner. I found out that my employer was taking over $800.00 a month for health insurance.

When I found out I ask to cancel insurance and get my own. I call the insurance company cancelled it on March 11, 2010 they confirmed it was cancelled. My employer is still taking the payment out of my check. Since my pay period ended for 31 they took another full month of insurance. I have not used this insurance and I can't use it because they cancelled on March 11, 2010. My employer claims it was effective cancelled for April 1, 2010. Can they do that?"

Here in NJ (USA) auto insurance differs by your level of education. I have an associates degree but if I were to put on my insurance that I have a bachelors for cheaper insurance would that be alright? I own a 2001 Ford Focus that I'm just now finding out is a Salvage Rebuild vehicle. I switched from the New York State insurance to Geico because it was cheaper, but Geico doesn't cover salvage rebuilds (I only found out it was a salvage rebuild because it was on my title). I purchased the car from my great-grandmother, who purchased it from a dealership in 2004. According to them, they do not sell salvage rebuild cars, but lo and behold, it is a salvage rebuild (from NJ!).
