What’s Happening? Will I be Affected? As we will be carrying out the construction work within the boundary of the school, we will be strictly controlling our deliveries. We have located the entrance and site compound as to ensure no congestion is caused by waiting delivery wagons. All suppliers are instructed with each order and call off that all delivery vehicle should continue into the site compound and not block the school entrance, car park or service roads. There will be no deliveries or vehicle movements between 0815 – 0930hrs and 1500 -1600hrs during term time. Our site working hours will be 7.30am to 4.30pm. As the project progresses it may be necessary to carry out some of the works on Saturdays between 8am and 5pm. At all times Carefoot’s project team will ensure that there is no nuisance caused by our works, all of our tools and equipment have been selected with silencing equipment where this cannot be done sound proofing will be used. Flood lighting for construction purposes will only be used during the hours of site operation as stated above. We have also considered and taken steps to eliminate dust and mud from leaving the construction site.

Can I visit the site? Where can I find out more? As the project progresses we intend to hold several events with the school and invite local stakeholders and residents. We have created a special hashtag on Twitter too so that each time Carefoot, the school or stakeholders tweet using #carefootrhyddings this will appear on the specially created project webpage. As mentioned above we have created a special page on our website dedicated to this project, this will contain project information along with all the relevant contact details and pictures and progress updates as we go along; enter the address below to access the page. http://www.carefootplc.com/construction/current_projects/rhyddings
