For the curious: the new reynolda.org
—Kaci Baez, director of marketing and communications, Reynolda House and Reynolda Gardens

If you visit Reynolda online this fall, you might notice something a little different. With the launch of the new reynolda.org, visitors are able to experience the magnitude of Reynolda: Reynolda Gardens, Reynolda Village, and Reynolda House—in one place.
The release of a fresh, unified website represents a critical moment for the Reynolda brand and its vision, which is to bring the entire estate together to thrive as a unified destination for peaceful contemplation, play, and personal growth. Reynolda’s audience, defined as deliberate explorers, represents a broad range of visitors who seek experiences across Reynolda that enlighten the mind and revive the senses.
The new reynolda.org reflects the energy, beauty, and diversity of the collections and programs offered by the House and Gardens and the welcoming, family-friendly environment experienced throughout the estate, along with a renewed opportunity for engagement with Members, Friends, and visitors.
Enhanced features designed to simplify and optimize the visitor’s digital experience is now available, including a more robust events calendar with listings that integrate throughout different areas of the site based on theme; a “what’s blooming” feature that illustrates what’s waiting to be discovered in the Gardens each month; a complete Reynolda video library and a rich presentation of multimedia, including educational resources, lesson plans, and feature stories; additional images on featured exhibition pages;

mobile-responsive design; the Wake Forest University campus map integrated into the site and updated to add additional points of reference for visitors; a shopping and dining directory for the Village; and expanded content and resources for the Winston-Salem and Wake Forest community.
The Museum’s collections database has been updated to eMuseum and offers a streamlined look and feel along with online galleries— including new galleries—and a chance for users to create their own gallery of “favorites.” Accessibility is also an important component of reynolda.org, and content and features have been fully audited by the Museum’s website vendor Interactive Knowledge to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The launch of reynolda.org propels Reynolda’s “digital wing” into uncharted territory, positioned for monumental growth, as the complete offerings of the Museum, Gardens, and Village are shared to present Reynolda as a premier destination where every visitor feels invited to learn, imagine, and find meaning.
Are you curious yet? Send your thoughts on the new reynolda.org to hello@reynolda.org; we’d love to hear from you! We also invite you to deepen your exploration of #Reynolda’s digital wing and download Reynolda Revealed on your mobile app or tablet. (Devices can be checked out at the front desk of the Museum as well.)
