Hi, I’m Rafika Dwi Puspitasari, an Architecture graduate from Universitas Brawijaya (2020). Over the past three years, I have been working as a Visual Merchandiser at IKEA, refining my expertise in store planning, layouting, and visual merchandising strategies. This experience has allowed me to create engaging and functional retail displays that align with brand identity and enhance customer experience.

I’m deeply passionate about continuous self-development in the creative industry. I’ve started exploring content creation, attending creative workshops, and even hosting painting workshops. Beyond that, I run a small business called Poestore, which transforms my love for drawing into unique merchandise that resonates with others.

In addition to my full-time role, I also take on freelance projects designing exhibition booths, leveraging my technical skills in 3D design to create innovative and visually appealing spaces My hobbies, such as painting, sketching, DIY crafts, and traveling, provide continuous inspiration and help me maintain a balance between professional growth and personal creativity.

My goal is to keep evolving as a Visual Merchandiser, blending my architectural background, crafting hobbies, and creative skills to create impactful designs that elevate brand storytelling and customer experience. I aspire to explore new challenges, collaborate with like-minded creatives, and contribute to innovative projects in retail and beyond.

The area needs to be rebuilt to address several issues with the current layout Poor flow and uninviting pathways, like narrow prolongations and misplaced partitions, make it hard for customers to navigate Key spots, such as the Home 03 and PAX vignette areas, lack clear entry points and fail to attract attention. Secondary aisles and backflow zones are underutilized, with no engaging commercial messages. Some hotspots are too deep and narrow, making them uncomfortable to explore Rebuilding will create a more open, inviting, and functional layout that enhances the customer experience and boosts engagement.

The common seasonal activity that IKEA releases every year is the Back to School series which is usually presented in the Launch Area as the main entrance of the store This year there is a concept of 5 colors which indicate the school phases (preschool-starting school-elementary school- middle school- gaming&study) with various activities.
