Work with us
RFEA – The Forces Employment Charity exists to provide life-long, life-changing support, job opportunities, and training to Service leavers, veterans, reservists and their families, irrespective of circumstances, rank, length of service, or reason for leaving.
Founded in 1885 and operating across the UK, we have the specialist knowledge and understanding to bridge the gap between military life and civilian employment. We work in partnership with other organisations and employers who, like us, respect and value the unique qualities and abilities of all those who have served.

Industry Placements
Mentoring and Workshops
Industry placements are excellent routes into employment for our clients and we would very much welcome opportunities in all industries.
We work with employers to create one-to-one mentoring opportunities, group workshops and insight days, giving our clients unique access to expert, industry-specific knowledge. These are a great way for staff members to give back and invaluable for both employers and our clients to instil motivation and creativity.

I live far away from both my partner and my family, so having someone to give me that regular support, especially coming from someone who was ex-Military and therefore understood the challenges I was facing, has really made a difference.
We host virtual and face to face networking events across all of RFEA’s programmes. We will be organising employment related events for Forces for London, Military Women and the Families Programme involving regional employers and clients.
Mark served as an Army Guardsman and had been out of work for nine years due to caring for his mother. I was given support with my CV, finding local employers, interview preparation and given referrals to other organisations to support me with other issues I was facing. I now have a job which has opportunities to progress –
the help I received from my RFEA advisor to secure my new job has been invaluable and I cannot thank her enough.
