Blix is a sweet, playful guy who dreams of a home where he can spend time with his people, play to his heart’s content, and soak up all the love he deserves. And let’s not forget his true love: treats! They work wonders in helping him with his training. Blix has successfully socialized with other animals, but since he’s a big, strong boy who loves to run and play, his future companions should be comfortable with his size and energy levels. Blix’s adoption fee has been sponsored.
Bean has been
of life at Pope Memorial Humane Society since June 4, 2022. If you’re doing the math, that’s over 1,200 days of shelter life. That’s a lot of breakfasts, a lot of naps, and probably more than a few opinions about who refills the food bowls just right. When she fi rst arrived, she was a young feral cat who didn’t really have much use for people. She spent some time in a foster home, where she started to come out of her shell, just a little, and has been part of our PMHS cat crew ever since. These days, if you walk into Cat Room 3, Jumping Bean is usually the fi rst cat to wander over and check you out. She is curious, playful, and genuinely enjoys being near people. She’s the kind of cat who wants to hang out beside you, not on you. She’s been patient with us as she’s learned to trust, and we’re hoping someone out there will be just as patient with her. Please help us spread the word, share her story, and tell your cat-loving friends about her. She’d love a home with another cat or two to show her the ropes and remind her that people aren’t so bad after all. Dogs? That’s a big unknown! Kids? If they are respectful and understand cats... ok. Jumping Bean is available as of our print date. If you call and she has been adopted please consider one of the other kitties in search of a home.
