As an interning landscape architect, Rezq significantly contributed to the Singapore National Science Centre project, primarily focusing on tasks related to graphic presentation and perspectives using Adobe software. Rezq collaborated closely with team members, providing valuable support during the Schematic Design and Design Development phases.

During his tenure at Grant Associates, Rezq actively engaged in client, consultant, and internal design workshops under the supervision of lead consultants A61 Architects and architectural design lead Zaha Architects.

Notably, he curated micro-research packages, specifically addressing carbon-sequestration in materials and CAM paint types. These research findings were seamlessly incorporated into client presentations, showcasing the practical application of Rezq's work on the project.

LOCATION CONCEPT

Meta-mor-phasia stands as a groundbreaking, transformative endeavor aimed at reshaping Coastal Protection and Landscape Design. With regenerative reuse as a focal point, the innovative concept centers on renewing and transforming current structures and spaces.

Embracing metamorphosis’ transformative potential, the project embodies a profound shift in both form and essence, ultimately crafting a regenerative space that revitalizes the site. Beyond constructing anew, the project’s essence lies Vin revitalizing and metamorphosing the existing space into an extraordinary entity.

This approach is paramount for ensuring the sustainability and lasting resilience of the built environment.

Meta-mor-phosia at PSA Tanjung Pagar Terminal seamlessly integrates industrial design with environmental consciousness. Located 1.4km from the nearest MRT station and adjacent to the Singapore Art Museum, the site features 99% hardscape, 5% softscape, and generic industrial streetscapes.

Accessibility is prioritized with proximity to two MRT stations and Ofo bicycles. The design proactively addresses sea level rise concerns, categorizing the site into Red, Orange, and Safe Zones. It embraces its maritime context with diverse coral species and marine life at the Tembaga Reef.

In summary, Meta-morp-hosia is an urban architectural marvel, emphasizing sustainability, resilience, and coexistence with nature at PSA Tanjung Pagar Terminal.

Grounded in the philosophy that light and shadow coexist, The Penumbra fosters an amplified perspective, deeper understanding, and an extension of compassion.

This innovative structure allows users to choose from diverse activities within the public event space, ranging from stargazing to performances. The Penumbra's immersive environment mirrors the dichotomy of light and shadow, offering a myriad of experiences for individuals to find their perfect shade.
