DEAR FRIENDS, WELCOME TO CALELLA!

Our town, which today is yours too, welcomes you with open arms. With a long, solid tourist tradition dating back more than 50 years, it has seen people walking in its streets and squares from all the continents, who have made Calella a cosmopolitan town open to all cultures.

Now that we know each other a little, if you allow me I will take you on a stroll around Calella. Let’s start by climbing the les Torretes hill to the Lighthouse, undoubtedly the best viewpoint on the BarcelonaMaresme coastline. Before us to the north-east the town stretches out with its long, excellent beach bathed by the sweet Mediterranean, benefiting from a benign climate, not too cold in the winter and not too hot in the summer. Now we look south and discover small coves surrounded by rocks and pins forests of great natural beauty. If we continue following the coastline SW, our sights on clear days will reach the city of Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia. To the north, the coastal mountains lined with pine and beech forests, largely protected in the MontnegreCorredor Nature Park, which explains the biological wealth of these areas with a great diversity of vegetation and fauna.

Well, after knowing where we are geographically, what do you think if we go down to the town and see what is happening in the streets? First of all we go to the historical centre where there are some medieval houses. It’s worth visiting the Museu-Arxiu Josep Maria Bagué, the Can Salvador de Plaça library, the chapel of Sant Quirze i Santa Julita and the church of Santa Maria i Sant Nicolau. Now we’ll go through the streets of the commercial centre, more than 800 establishments !!! and a large diversity of products inviting us to do our shopping while strolling peacefully. To complement the shopping we have a highly varied gastronomic offer, from the typical Mediterranean cuisine to others from around the world.

To round off the day I suggest we stop for a rest in one of Calella’s park areas: the Passeig de Mar espalande and the Parc Dalmau. In both we can enjoy the cool shade of the trees and the sun in the most open corners.

The route we have done has shown us a town that has to be enjoyed with all the dynamism and human wealth it gives off. We will find many highly renowned cultural events such as the Aplec de la Sardana (Sardana gathering), the Festival de la Imatge (Festival of Image) and the Jornades Internacionals Folklòriques (International Folkloric Gatherings). International events in different sports and leisure activities such as the Beer Festival and Carnivals; and events which, in addition to leisure and culture, also have a socioeconomic reach, such as the Calella i l’Alt Maresme Fair.

Notre ville, qui aujourd’hui est également la vôtre, vous accueille à bras ouverts. Dotée d’une longue et solide tradition touristique de plus de 50 ans, elle a vu passer le long de ses rues et de ses places des personnes des cinq continents qui ont fait de Calella

une ville cosmopolite et ouverte à toutes les cultures.

Maintenant que nous nous connaissons un peu, et si vous me le permettez, je vais vous emmener faire une promenade à Calella. Venez, nous allons commencer par grimper la montagne de les Torretes et el Far, qui représente sans aucun doute le meilleur mirador de la côte de Barcelone-Maresme. En tout premier lieu, et si vous regardez en direction du nordest, la ville s’étend avec sa grande et excellente plage baignée par la douceur de la Méditerranée, lequel nous permet de jouir d’un climat doux, pas trop froid en hiver et pas trop chaud en été. Nous regardons maintenant vers le sud et nous découvrons de petites criques entourées de rochers et de bois de pins d’une grande beauté naturelle. Si nous continuons à suivre la ligne du littoral en direction SO, notre vue pourra voir, si la journée est claire, la ville de Barcelone, capitale de la Catalogne. Au nord, les montagnes du littoral recouvertes de bois de pins et de chênes verts protégés, en grande partie, par le Parc Naturel Montnegre-Corredor. Cela explique la richesse biologique de ces contrées sous forme de végétation et de faune très variée.

Bon, maintenant que nous savons où nous nous trouvons d’un point de vue géographique, que diriezvous de redescendre à la ville et de parcourir ses rues pour voir ce qu’il s’y passe. Tout d’abord, nous nous approchons du centre historique où sont encore conservées quelques maisons d’origine médiévale.

Nous recommandons de visiter le Musée-Archives Josep Maria Bagué, la bibliothèque de Can Salvador de Plaça, la chapelle de Sant Quirze et Santa Julita et l’église de Santa Maria et Sant Nicolau. Nous continuons par les rues du centre commercial, plus de 800 établissements!!! offrant une très grande variété de produits et qui nous invitent à acheter tout en réalisant une promenade agréable. Pour compléter les magasins, nous trouvons une offre très variée en matière de restauration, allant de la typique cuisine méditerranéenne aux cuisines du monde entier.

Pour couronner la journée, je vous propose de nous reposer dans l’un des grands espaces verts de Calella: le Passeig de Mar et le Parc Dalmau. Nous pourrons y jouir de l’ombre rafraîchissante des arbres ou du soleil des coins les plus dégagés.

Le parcours que nous avons suivi vous a permis de connaître une ville digne d’être vécue grâce à son dynamisme et à son capital humain. Ainsi, nous pourrons assister à de nombreux actes culturels de grande renommée tels que l’Aplec de la Sardana, le Festival de l’Image et les Journées Internationales Folkloriques. Rencontres internationales de plusieurs sports. Activités de loisirs telles que la Foire de la

Calella Bière et les Carnavals. Et des évènements qui, outre le temps libre et la culture, possèdent également une racine sociale et économique tels que la Foire de Calella et le Haut Maresme.

Unsere Stadt, die heute auch die Ihre ist, empfängt Sie mit offenen Armen. Unsere lange, konstante touristische Tradition, über 50 Jahre alt, hat den Grundstein für das heutige Calella gelegt: Menschen aus allen Kontinenten sind bereits über unsere Straßen und Plätze gegangen und haben aus Calella eine kosmopolitische Stadt gemacht, offen für alle Kulturen. Da wir uns also nicht mehr ganz fremd sind und wenn Sie erlauben, möchte ich Sie gern auf einem kleinen Rundgang durch Calella begleiten. Beginnen wir am besten mit dem Aufstieg auf den Hügel mit den Turmruinen Les Torretes und dem Leuchtturm, der zweifelsohne den schönsten Blick auf die Küste von Barcelona-Maresme bietet. Schauen wir zuerst nach Nordosten, so sehen wir die Stadt zu Füßen mit ihrem großen, wunderschönen Mittelmeerstrand, der von einem sehr angenehmen Klima profitiert – im Winter nicht zu kalt, im Sommer nicht zu heiß.

Schauen wir nun nach Süden, entdecken wir dort kleine Buchten von großer Naturschönheit, umsäumt von Felsen und Pinienwäldern. Wenn wir den Blick nun den Küstenstreifen entlang Richtung Südwesten schweifen lassen, reicht die Sicht an klaren Tagen bis nach Barcelona, der Hauptstadt Kataloniens.

Nach Norden hin sind die Berge der Küstenregion dicht mit Pinien und Eichen bewaldet, die größtenteils durch den Naturpark Montnegre-Corredor geschützt sind. Diese Tatsache erklärt auch den biologischen Reichtum – die sehr vielseitige Flora und Fauna dieses Gebiets.

Nachdem wir uns nun eine geografische Übersicht über unseren Standort verschafft haben, sollten wir nicht in die Stadt hinuntergehen und in ihre Straßen eintauchen? Zuerst nähern wir uns der historischen Altstadt, die einige Häuser mittelalterlichen Ursprungs beherbergt. Empfehlenswert sind ein Besuch des Stadtmuseums und Archivs Josep Maria Bagué,

der Bibliothek Can Salvador de la Plaça, der Kapelle Sant Quirze und Santa Julita und der Kirche Santa Maria und Sant Nicolau. Folgen wir nun den Straßen des Zentrums mit ihren mehr als 800 (!) Geschäften, die eine große Auswahl an Produkten anbieten! Hier kann man bei einem entspannten Stadtbummel ganz gemütlich einkaufen. Unsere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten werden ergänzt von einem vielseitigen gastronomischen Angebot, das von der typisch mediterranen bis hin zur internationalen Küche aus aller Welt reicht.

Zum Abschluß unseres Rundgangs schlage ich Ihnen einen Besuch unserer beiden großen Erholungsgebiete in Calella vor: der Strandpromenade und des Parks Dalmau. An beiden Orten können Sie sowohl den kühlen Schatten der Bäume als auch den Sonnenschein in den offeneren Ecken genießen.

Unser Rundgang hat uns eine Stadt näher gebracht, die neben ihren Sehenswürdigkeiten auch eine dynamische, menschliche Seite hat, die Sie unbedingt kennen lernen sollten. So gibt es vielfältige, bekannte Kulturveranstaltungen, wie z.B. das Treffen der Sardanas, das Festimatge (audiovisuelles Festival) oder die Tage internationaler Folklore. Außerdem finden internationale Treffen verschiedener Sportarten und andere Freizeitaktivitäten wie das Oktoberfest oder der Fasching statt. Und schließlich gibt es Veranstaltungen, die über Freizeit und Kultur hinausgehen und auch ein soziales und wirtschaftliches Anliegen haben, z.B. die Ausstellung Feria von Calella i l’Alt Maresme.

La nostra città, che oggi è anche la vostra, vi accoglie a braccia aperte. Grazie a una lunga e solida tradizione turistica di oltre 50 anni, la città ha visto passare per le sue vie e piazze persone di tutti i continenti che la hanno reso cosmopolita e aperta a tutte le culture.

Ora che ci conosciamo già un po’, e se me lo permettete, vi accompagnerò a fare un giro per Calella.

Inizieremo scalando la montagna Torretes i el Far, senza dubbio il miglior belvedere della costa Barcellona-Maresme. In primo piano, guardando a nord-

est, ci sono la città con la sua grande e meravigliosa spiaggia bagnata da un dolce mar Mediterraneo, che offre a tutti un clima salubre, non troppo freddo in inverno né troppo caldo in estate. Guardiamo ora verso sud, dove scopriamo piccole cale nascoste da rocce e pinete dalla grande bellezza naturale. Se seguiamo la linea del litorale in direzione sud-ovest, potremo osservare, nei giorni più limpidi, la città di Barcellona, la capitale della Catalogna. A nord ci sono le montagne del litorale ricche di boschi di pini e querce, che sono protetti per la maggior parte, dal Parco Naturale Montnegre-Corredor. Ciò spiega la ricchezza biologica di queste regioni con una vegetazione e fauna estremamente diversificate.

Dopo aver scoperto dove ci troviamo geograficamente, siete disposti a scendere in città e a percorrere le sue vie per vedere cosa succede? Inizialmente ci avvicineremo al centro storico, dove si conservano alcune case dell’epoca medievale. Si consiglia una visita al Museo-archivio Josep Maria Bagué, la biblioteca di Can Salvador de Plaça, la cappella di Sant Quirze i Santa Julita e la chiesa di Santa Maria i Sant Nicolau. Proseguiamo ora per le strade del centro commerciale, più di 800 negozi che offrono una grande varietà di prodotti e che ci invitano a comprare mentre passeggiamo piacevolmente. Oltre ai negozi vi è una ricca offerta gastronomica, dalla tipica cucina mediterranea a quella dell’altro capo del mondo.

Per terminare la giornata vi propongo di fermarvi a riposare nei grandi spazi verdi di Calella: il Passeig de Mar e il Parc Dalmau. Sia nell’uno sia nell’altro potrete godere dell’ombra rinfrescante degli alberi o del sole degli angoli più aperti.

Il percorso che abbiamo fatto ci ha consentito di conoscere la città che bisogna osservare con tutto il dinamismo e la ricchezza umana che emana. In città sarà possibile assistere a diversi eventi culturali di grande importanza, come la danza della Sardana, il Festival dell’immagine o le giornate internazionali folcloriche. Incontri internazionali di diversi sport.

Attività per il tempo libero come la Fiera della Birra o il carnevale. Ed eventi che oltre agli aspetti del tempo libero e culturali hanno anche una portata socioeconomica, come la Fiera di Calella e dell’Alt Maresme.

The beaches have an average width of 55 metres, allowing for entertainment and activity areas which are unique in the Maresme district.

•LES ROQUES BEACH. This is a spot of great natural beauty, with its coves and rocks and its clean, sparkling water. It is 750 metres long and 26 metres wide and is situated to the south of the town.

•GARBÍ BEACH. Awarded the Blue Flag of the Beaches of Europe, the Q for Quality Award. It is 814 metres long and 72 wide, and is bordered by an attractive promenade of the same name.

•MAIN BEACH. Awarded the Blue Flag of the Beaches of Europe. The Passeig Manel Puigvert, a setting for culture and entertainment events, runs parallel to this beach, the largest in Calella with a length of almost 1.5 km.

With its tree lineal promenade and open spaces it is ideal for enjoying the sea and the sunshine.

•PLATJA GRAN. Lauréate du Drapeau bleu des plages d’Europe. Le Passeig Manel Puigvert, théâtre de nombreux événements culturels et ludiques, longe cette plage qui, avec près d’un kilomètre et demi, est la plus vaste de Calella.

Au centre de la ville, bordée d’une agréable promenade et de grands espaces d’où profiter de la mer et du soleil, cette plage est la plus importante des environs. VENEZ EN PROFITER... C’EST UN VÉRITABLE LUXE !

The municipal Museum-Archives Josep M. Codina i Bagué in Calella is located in a big 17th century house which has had many different purposes. Since 1979, it houses the Museum-Archives.

It is a multidisciplinary local museum that researches, keeps and spreads the different aspects of the town’s heritage. There are exhibitions on collections of different topics, mainly those devoted to the textile past, the overseas trade, the the Gallart art gallery, the Barri Chemist’s or the bobbin lace.

Die Stadt verfügt über einige sehenswerte Gebäude aus der Jugendstilzeit und ist stolz darauf, ihren Besuchern einen Einblick in das katalanische Kunst- und Kulturschaffen bieten zu können. Die Ereignisse und Traditionen nehmen im Alltag der Stadt Calella einen wichtigen Platz ein. Le Musée-Archives Municipal de Calella Josep M. Codina i Bagué se trouve dans une grande maison de campagne du XVIIe Siècle qui, tout au long des années, a été utilisé à diverses fins. Depuis 1979, c’est le siège du Musée-Archives.

Il s’agit d’un musée local multidisciplinaire qui recherche, conserve et diffuse les différents aspects du patrimoine de la ville. On y expose des collections de thèmes variés, comme par exemple, celles consacrées au textile dans le passé, au commerce d’outremer, à la pinacothèque Gallart, à la Pharmacie Barri ou aux pointes de coussin.

Das städtische Museum-Archiv Josep M. Codina i Bagué in Calella befindet sich in einem großen Herrenhaus aus dem 17. Jahrhundert, dem im Laufe der Jahre viele Verwendungen zugewiesen wurden. Seit 1979 ist es der Sitz des Museum-Archivs.

Es handelt sich hierbei um ein multidisziplinäres Lokalmuseum, das verschiedene Aspekte des Ortserbes untersucht, konserviert und verbreitet. Es gibt Ausstellungen zu verschiedenen Themen, wobei diejenigen hervorzuheben sind, die der textilen Vergangenheit, dem Überseehandel, der Pinakothek Gallart, der Barri-Apotheke oder den Klöppelarbeiten gewidmet sind.

THE CULTURE OF A PEOPLE IS SHOWN ALSO IN ITS CUISINE

Catalan cuisine grew out of popular knowledge and, at the same time, is a balanced and stable cuisine. From a base of simple elements it intelligently combines the ingredients which Nature placed within its reach and every Catalan county has its speciality which, together with its wines, “cava” (Catalan champagne) and Catalan liqueurs, make eating in Catalonia a genuine pleasure. The cuisine prepared in the coastal strip maintains an harmonious, well-defined relationship: Catalan cuisine, a Mediterranean cuisine based on produce from the sea uses, at the same time, the full variety of agricultural and market-garden produce. Seafood cuisine has given us such exquisite fish specialities as “suquet de peix”, a multitude of ways of preparing rock mussels, various seafood rice dishes, “sarsuela” (spicy fish stew), “graellada” (barbecues) and “romesco” sauce (typical mixed sauce), black rice and all those dishes which are prepared with a sauce based on the “sofregit” (basis for any sauce which consists of fried onion and tomato), the “picada” (a sauce where the ingredients, usually almonds, garlic, parsley, etc., have been chopped or ground) or the “samfaina” (offal stew). You can also taste excellent dishes from the cuisine of the inland regions, like the popular beans and “botifarra” (sausage), “allioli” (literally “garlic and oil” which are blended to form a mayonnaise-like sauce) and “pa amb tomàquet” (bread spread with tomato and oil).

La cuisine catalane est née du savoir populaire, et il s’agit, à la fois d’une cuisine équilibrée et consistente. En partant d’éléments simples, et en combinant avec intelligence les ingrédients que la nature offre, chaque région élabore ses spécialités, qui, avec leurs vins, leurs cavas et les liqueurs catalanes, font que le fait de manger en Catalogne soit un véritable plaisir. La cuisine qui est faite sur toute la frange de la côte, garde une armonieuse relation bien déterminée: la cuisine catalane, une cuisine méditerranéenne basée sur les fruits de mer, ainsi que sur toute la variété des produits des grands jardins potagers et du champ. La cuisine de mer a donné des spécialités si exquises comme le “suquet de peix”, les innombrables façons d’élaborer les moules des rochers, les différents plats de riz marins, les “sarsueles”, les grillades et les sauces “romesco”, le riz noir et tous les plats cuisinés avec des sauces basées sur le “sofregit”, la “picada” ou la “samfaina”. Vous pouvez aussi déguster d’excellents plats de la cuisine des terres de l’intérieur, comme les “mongetes amb botifarra” (haricots blancs et saucisse), l’ailloli, et le pain à la tomate.

La cucina catalana nasce dalla saggezza popolare ed è perciò equilibrata e consistente. Combina sapientemente, e con molta semplicità, gli ingredienti che offre la natura. Ogni distretto ha le sue specialità che, unite ai vini, agli spumanti e ai liquori catalani, esaltano i piaceri della tavola catalana. La gastronomia della zona costiera conserva un rapporto armonioso e ben definito: infatti la cucina catalana, schiettamente mediterranea, fa molto uso dei prodotti del mare, ma adopera anche i diversi alimenti che provengono dagli orti e dai campi. La cucina del mare ha elaborato prelibate specialità a base di pesce come il suquet de peix, molte ricette con i mitili di roccia, vari risotti marinari, piatti in umido di pesce e frutti di mare, grigliate accompagnate dalla salsa romesco, riso al nero di seppia e tanti altri piatti preparati con salse a base di soffritto, di mandorle tritate con aglio e prezzemolo, o di verdure stufate. Montserrat is the place of the sanctuary of the Virgin and the Benedictine monastery, which for almost a thousand years has been at the service of all the visitors and pilgrims from around the world who come to venerate the image of ‘la Moreneta’.

As well as the monks, Montserrat is also home to the ‘Escolania’, one of the oldest children’s choirs in Europe, which sings in the Basilica from Sundays to Fridays.

An excellent way to get to Montserrat is on the rack train: an attractive, comfortable, rapid, safe and environmentally friendly form of transport. The trip takes about 15 minutes and lets passengers enjoy the privileged views of the mountains. It stops in the area of the sanctuary.

All of the trains are panoramic, air conditioned and adapted for persons with reduced mobility.

In the sanctuary, in addition to the Basilica and the Image of the Mother of God, we can visit the Montserrat Museum, which has six permanent

collections, including paintings, with works by Picasso, Dalí, Degas, Monet, El Greco, Tiepolo, Caravaggio, etc.

The audio-visual presentation “Montserrat Portes Endins” (Inside Montserrat) offers visitors the chance of discovering the lifestyle and organization of Montserrat’s Benedictine community.

At the same time, the nature park offers many possibilities for nature lovers: from trekking to the toughest climbing. Two funiculars take visitors to different points of the mountain: that of Sant Joan, up to a height of 1,000 metres, where you can visit the Nature Hall and enjoy one of the most spectacular views of Montserrat. That of the Santa Cova (holy cave), to the place where, according to legend, the image of the Mother of God was found.

Tous les wagons sont panoramiques, équipés de l’air conditionné et aménagés pour les personnes à mobilité réduite.

Mises à part la basilique et l’image de la Mère de Dieu, il est possible de visiter le Musée de Montserrat abritant 6 collections permanentes, parmi lesquelles il convient de souligner celle consacrée à la peinture exposant les oeuvres d’artistes réputés comme Picasso, Dali, Degas, Monet, El Greco, Tiepolo, Caravaggio, etc.

Endins » offre aux visiteurs la possibilité de découvrir les modes de vie et l’organisation de la communauté bénédictine de Montserrat.

Parallèlement, le parc naturel propose de nombreuses possibilités aux amoureux de la nature: randonnée et escalade de haut niveau.

Deux funiculaires permettent aux visiteurs de se rapprocher des différents sommets de la montagne: le funiculaire de Sant Joan, montant jusqu’à 1000 mètres d’altitude et à la descente duquel se trouve l’Atelier nature (Aula de Natura), permet de contempler les vues les plus spectaculaires de Montserrat, et le funiculaire de Santa Cova où, si l’on en croit la légende, fut découverte l’image de la Mère de Dieu.

Zwei Seilbahnen bringen die Besucher zu verschiedenen Bergstationen: zur Station Sant Joan auf 1000 Metern Höhe, wo Sie das Naturzentrum besuchen und eine der spektakulärsten Aussichten von Montserrat genießen können. Vall de Núria is a spot in the Pyrenees, surrounded by mountains nearly 3,000 metres high and where many springs and torrents have their source. It is only accessible by rack railway, covering 12.5 Km and starting at Ribes de Freser. It covers a difference in height of 1,000 metres.

In summer, at Vall de Núria, you can enjoy a great number of activities: excursions, horse riding, boats and canoes on the lake, archery, miniature golf, orientation circuits, Nordic walking and a leisure park for all ages with a giant slide, a climbing wall and balance games.

In winter Vall de Núria becomes a family and friendly ski resort with all the necessary services.

The Vall de Núria Hotel, completely refurbished, is located in the middle of the valley and is part of the Núria’s Sanctuary architectural heritage. This Sanctuary is one of the oldest worship places in the country. You can also stay in the apartments or the Pic de l’Àliga hostel.

The cuisine of el Maresme is dominated by the products of the sea and the country. Its products, of renowned prestige thanks to popular wisdom and gastronomic manifestations, are worth remembering: strawberries, above all from Sant Iscle de Vallalta, Sant Cebrià de Vallalta and Sant Pol de Mar; cherries from Arenys de Munt, rose tomatoes, peas from Mataró, Sant Andreu de Llavaneres and Caldes d’Estrac, white beans from Palafolls and wild mushrooms from the lower Maresme region.

The sea provides us with prawns, crayfish, squid and clams from Arenys de Mar, as well as a wide range of coastal fish. To complement all of this, the famous Alella Denomination of Origin, and above all its white wines and cavas from Tiana and el Masnou.

GASTRONOMIC TOURISM: A PLEASURE TO THE PALATE

A land of good wines, fertile countryside and charismatic products. El Maresme can allow itself to set the table with recently caught fish, shellfish still moving, strawberries with a deep aroma and intense flavour, fleshy cherries, peas sweet like honey and Sunday meal beans, and the region is also the land of good cooks.

It is also a region of popular gastronomic manifestations, which occur throughout the year and make the region a compulsory visit for those who enjoy eating. Fruit shows: en Roca cherries in Arenys de Munt, la Vallalta strawberries in Sant Cebrià, Sant Pol, Canet, Arenys de Munt and Sant Iscle; seafood shows: the Calamarenys and Cod Days in Pineda de Mar and others for the products of the countryside:

the Pea meeting in Caldes d’Estrac and the Bean Day in Malgrat de Mar. And what better way to wash down a good meal than with good wine or cava? The DO Alella offers the ideal complement for meals with a wide range of grape juices ripened under the sun.

LE MARESME MET LA TABLE

Dans la cuisine du Maresme les produits de la mer et des plaines maraîchères sont prédominants. Certains produits, grâce à la sagesse populaire et aux manifestations gastronomiques, ont acquis un certain prestige. Il convient de les rappeler: les fraises, surtout celles de Sant Iscle de Vallalta, de Sant Cebrià de Vallalta et de Sant Pol de Mar; les cerises d’Arenys de Munt, les tomates rosa, les petits pois de Mataró, de Sant Andreu de Llavaneres et de Caldes d’Estrac, les flageolets du « ganxet » de Palafolls et les champignons du bas Maresme.

De la mer, il faut citer les crevettes, les langoustines, les calamars et les clovisses d’Arenys de Mar, outre la vaste gamme de poissons de la côte. Pour clore le tout, l’appellation d’Origine Contrôlée Alella, célèbre essentiellement, pour ses vins blancs et les caves de Tiana et de Masnou.

Terre de bons vins, de plaine maraîchère abondante et de produits charismatiques. Dans un autre registre, on trouve les nombreuses manifestations gastronomiques populaires tout au long de l’année qui font de la région un lieu à visiter impérativement par les personnes qui aiment manger. Il y en a consacrées aux fruits: la cerise d’en Roca à Arenys de Munt, la fraise de la Vallalta, à Sant Cebrià, Sant Pol, Canet, Arenys de Munt et Sant Iscle; les fruits de mer: le « Calamarenys » ou les Journées de la Morue de Pineda de Mar ou les produits de la plaine maraîchère: la « Pesolada » (poêlée de haricots) de Caldes d’Estrac ou la « Mongetada » (ragoût de flageolets) de Malgrat de Mar. Et quoi de mieux qu’arroser un bon repas avec un bon vin ou du cava? L’AOC d’Alella offre le complément idéal lors du repas avec un vaste choix de jus de raison mûris au soleil.

Nella cucina della regione del Maresme predominano i prodotti del mare e dell’orto. Between tradition and courtesy, the vineyards in Alella are swung by the sea breeze, while they bring down their roots to a ground with a good draining system that keeps sun radiation.

A typically Mediterranean weather close to the sea combined with a more continental microclimate in the inside area. The Litoral mountain range stops the wind and condensates the humidity of the sea.

This small area has always provided Barcelona with its wine, and for many centuries these wines have been on the tables of wealthy Barcelona inhabitants.

The most characteristic are its white wines, Alella wine, dry or sweet, produced with a wide range of different varieties. The white raisin must be highlighted, often blended with chardonnay or white sauvignon.

Rosé wines are fresh, aromatic and light. They are produced with Grenache, and also rosé raisin and merlot.

Red wines are fruity and soft, and are produced with cabernet sauvignon, tempranillo and merlot.

Historiquement, cette zone a toujours été le grand fournisseur vinicole des marchés de Barcelone et elle a présidé les tables de la haute société barcelonaise durant des siècles.

Les blancs sont les vins caractéristiques d’Alella : secs ou doux, ils sont élaborés à partir d’une combinaison de différentes variétés. Il s’agit de vins légers, parfumés et cristallins. Le raisin blanc se distingue généralement par sa subtile nuance de chardonnay ou sauvignon blanc.

Les rosés sont frais, aromatiques et légers. Ils sont élaborés à base de grenache, mais également de raisin rosé et de merlot.

Les vins rouges sont quant à eux fruités et doux et sont élaborés à partir de cabernet sauvignon, de cépage Tempranillo et de merlot.

The route starts at the “pati de la verema” (harvest courtyard), and continues down through the heart of the building to the vats and the bottling area to end up in the shop, where you can try MARFIL wine. In addition to the explanation of how the wine is made, one of the main appeals of the visit is the building.

Una delle principali attrattive della visita, oltre alla spiegazione della preparazione del vino, è l’edificio. This is the pilot centre of the future network of Tourist Welcome Centres which the Department of Innovation, Universities and Enterprise is developing in ten points of Catalonia.

These centres are intended to receive tourists and give them information on the central theme of the CAT, which in the case of Teià is the Roman footprint on Catalonia and its relationship with vine and wine.

In CAT, tourists will find an area for rest and services, a shop and a stall for selling craftwork, a bar-space for tasting gastronomy and local products, and a conventional tourist information point.

Integrated perfectly in the framework of the Vallmora archaeological site and wine centre, the CAT in Teià explains the country’s long tradition in growing vines and producing wine, and becomes both a primary pedagogical resource and a new point of tourist attraction at the same time.

The vine cell of Vallmora (Teià): Laietanian wine The Roman winery of Vallmora was a wine production centre of the Roman Laietania, with documented activity from the 1st century bc. to the 5th century DC. Discovered by Lluís Galera in 1966, the site enables us to explain how wine was made in Roman times. It has remains of the pressing rooms (torcularia), the must tanks (laci) and half-buried ceramic vats (dolia defossa) for fermenting and ageing the wine.

Twenty-two centuries later, the ‘Cella Vinaria’ archaeological park allows us to see what the harvesting, the production and the commercialisation of Laietanian wine were like in Roman times.

L‘objectif de ces centres consiste à accueillir

Le vignoble de Vallmora (Teià): le vin laietà Le cellier romain de Vallmora a été un centre de production vitivinicole de la Laietania romaine dont l’activité est documentée entre le 1er et le 5e siècles av. J.C. Découvert par Lluís Galera en 1966, le gisement permet d’expliquer comment était élaboré le vin pendant l’époque romaine. Il conserve des vestiges des salles de pressage (torcularia), des dépôts de moût (laci) et des amphores en céramique à demi enterrées (dolia defossa) pour la fermentation et le vieillissement du vin.

Vingt-deux siècles plus tard, le parc archéologique Cella Vinaria permet de comprendre comment étaient réalisées la culture, la production et la commercialisation du vin laietà pendant l’époque romaine.

DAS “CAT” (TOURISTENEMPFANGSZENTRUM) VON TEIÀ

Es handelt sich hierbei um das Pilotzentrum des zukünftigen Netzes der Touristenempfangszentren, die das Ministerium für Innovation, Universität und Unternehmen an zehn Stellen Kataloniens eröffnen wird.

Ziel dieser Zentren ist es, den Touristen zu empfangen und ihm Information zur Hauptaufgabe des CAT zu vermitteln. Im Falle von Teià handelt es sich um die römischen Spuren in Katalonien und ihre Beziehung zu den Weinkellern und zum Wein.

Das CAT von Teià, das vorzüglich in den Rahmen des archäologischen Fundortes und das Weingebiet von Vallmora eingepasst ist, erläutert die langjährige Tradition des Weinanbaus und der Weinherstellung derart, dass es von nun an zu einem neuartigen pädagogischen Mittel ersten Ranges und einer neuen Touristenattraktion wird.

Die Weinkeller von Vallmora (Teià): der lauretanische Wein Der römische Keller von Vallmora war ein Zentrum der Weinherstellung des römischen Lauretana mit dokumentarisch belegter Aktivität vom 1. Jahrhundert vor Christus bis zum 5.

Jahrhundert nach Christus.

1966 von Lluis Galera entdeckt, ermöglicht diese Fundstelle die Erläuterung der Weinherstellung zur Römerzeit. Es sind Überreste des Mostkellers (Torcularia), der Mostbehälter (Laci) und halbeingegrabene Keramikbütten (Dolia defossa) zur Gärung und Alterung des Weines vorhanden.

Zweiundzwanzig Jahrhunderte später ist es dank des Archäologieparks “Cella Vinaria“ möglich zu verstehen, wie es um Weinanbau, Herstellung und Vertrieb des lauretanischen Weines zur Römerzeit stand.

IL CENTRO CAT DI TEIÀ

Si tratta del centro pilota della futura rete di Centri d’Accoglienza Turistica che il Dipartimento per l’innovazione, l’università e l’impresa ha dispiegato in due punti della Catalogna.

L’obiettivo di tali centri è di accogliere i turisti, fornire informazioni sul tema centrale del CAT, che nel caso di Teià sono le vestigia romane in Catalogna e la relazione con la vigna e con il vino.

Il turista troverà presso un CAT un’area di riposo e di servizi, negozi e un punto vendita di oggetti di artigianato, un bar con spazio di degustazione legato alla gastronomia e ai prodotti locali e un punto di informazione turistica convenzionale.

Integrato perfettamente nel quadro del giacimento archeologico e della cantina vinicola di Vallmora, il CAT di Teià illustra la lunga tradizione del paese nel settore della coltivazione delle vigne e della produzione vitivinicola, per diventare un percorso pedagogico di alto

livello e un nuovo punto di interesse turistico.

La cantina di Vallmora (Teià): il vino della Laietania La cantina romana di Vallmora è stato un centro di produzione vitivinicolo della Laietania romana con attività documentata tra i secoli I a.C. e V d.C. Scoperto da Lluís Galera nel 1966, questo giacimento consente di spiegare il metodo di produzione del vino in epoca romana. Conserva resti delle sale di spremitura (torcularia), del deposito del mosto (laci) e delle tinozze di ceramica sepolte a metà nel terreno (dolia defossa) per la fermentazione e l’invecchiamento del vino.

Ventidue secoli dopo, il parco archeologico Cella Vinaria consente di capire come avveniva la coltivazione, la produzione e la commercializzazione del vino della Laietania in epoca romana.

The Catalonia National Art Museum (Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya) is one of the most important museums in the city of Barcelona, both for its size and the amount and quality of the works displayed there.

The MNAC offers a tour through 1,000 years of art: from its emblematic Romanesque art collection, with the best sets of mural painting in the world, to Modernisme and 20th-century avant-garde. These collections, along with the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque, make the MNAC a reference museum where all forms are present: painting, sculpture, decorative arts, drawing, etching, posters, photography and numismatics.

In the MNAC we can contemplate works by artists of universal renown, such as El Greco, Zurbarán, Velázquez, Goya, Fra Angelico, Tiziano, Canaletto, Cranach, Rubens, Toulouse-Lautrec, Sisley, Rodin, Gaudí, Dalí and Picasso.

In addition to the permanent collection, it is also worth mentioning the temporary collections programmed each year by the MNAC, combining those produced by the museum itself (placing special emphasis on Catalan artist and movements), with those travelling collections received from international exhibitions.

The MNAC also has ideal spaces for holding events of all kinds: congresses, receptions and cultural and business events, which can be combined with a private visit to the museum’s collections. The Oval Room, one of the largest in Europe, allows many events to be held, and the museum also has other singular spaces which can be rented, such as the Dome Room, the Foyer, the two auditoriums, and the Podium or open air terrace.

Outre sa collection permanente, il faut citer également les expositions temporaires programmées chaque année par le MNAC, qui allie celles qui lui sont propres (avec mention spéciale aux artistes et aux mouvements catalans), à l’accueil, sous forme itinérante, d’expositions internationales.

Le MNAC possède également des espaces parfaits pour organiser des évènements de toute sorte: congrès, réceptions et actes culturels et corporatifs, pouvant être combinés avec la visite privée aux collections du Musée. La Salle Ovale, l’une des plus grande d’Europe, permet d’accueillir de nombreux actes. De plus, le Musée possède d’autres espaces singuliers pouvant être loués, comme la Salle de la Coupole, le Vestibule, les deux auditoriums et le Podium ou terrasse en plein air.

Das Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (Nationales Kunstmuseum von Katalonien) ist eines der wichtigsten Museen der Stadt Barcelona, sowohl aufgrund seiner Größe als auch der Anzahl und Qualität der in ihm ausgestellten Werke.

Das MNAC bietet eine Reise durch 1000 Jahre Kunst: ausgehend von seiner emblematischen Sammlung romanischer Kunst mit den weltweit besten Ensembles an Wandmalereien bis hin zum Jugendstil und der Avantgarde des 20.Jahrhunderts. Diese Sammlungen, zusammen mit denen der Kunst der Gotik, der Renaissance und des Barocks machen das MNAC zu einem Referenzmuseum, in dem alle Kunstarten vertreten sind: Malerei, Skulptur, ornamentale Kunst, Zeichnungen, Stiche, Plakate, Fotografie und Münzen.

Im MNAC kann man die Werke weltberühmter Künstler, wie El Greco, Zurbarán, Velázquez, Goya, Fra Angelico, Tiziano, Canaletto, Cranach, Rubens, Toulouse-Lautrec, Sisley, Rodin, Gaudí, Dalí oder Picasso bewundern.

Abgesehen von seiner Dauerausstellung müssen auch die Sonderaustellungen genannt werden, die das MNAC jährlich plant. Hierbei werden eigene Produktionen (mit speziellem Augenmerk auf katalanische Künstler und Bewegungen) mit internationalen Wanderausstellungen kombiniert.

Das MNAC verfügt zudem über ideale Räumlichkeiten für Veranstaltungen jeder Art: Kongresse, Empfänge, kulturelle und betriebliche Veranstaltungen, die mit einer Privatführung durch das Museum kombiniert werden können. Der ovale Saal, einer der Größten Europas, ermöglicht zahlreiche Veranstaltungen. Zudem verfügt das Museum über weitere hervorragende und zu mietende Räumlichkeiten, wie den Kuppelsaal, das Foyer, die beiden Auditorien, das Podium oder die Freiluftterrasse.

Il MNAC ospita un percorso di 1.000 anni d’arte: dall’emblematica collezione di arte romanica, con i migliori esempi di dipinti murali al mondo, fino al modernismo e all’avanguardia del XX secolo. Il MNAC dispone inoltre di spazi adatti all’organizzazione di eventi di qualsiasi tipo: congressi, ricevimenti e manifestazioni culturali e aziendali, che possono essere accompagnati dalla visita privata alle collezioni del museo.

La Sala ovale, una delle più grandi in Europa, può ospitare diverse manifestazioni. Inoltre, il museo dispone di altri spazi individuali che è possibile affittare, come la Sala della cupola, il vestibolo, i due auditorium e il Podio o terrazza all’aria aperta.

In the period from June to September, the great majority of the towns of Catalonia celebrate their most traditional festivities, concurring with either the summer solstice or the end of the harvest. These festivities are a yearly break in the everyday working life of the people, and they are very representative of the Catalan spirit forming an important part of the country’s folk culture. Almost all the traditional Catalan festivities have some very similar features, such as the custom of decorating the public square, street or neighbourhood with short-lasting ornamental arrangements: awnings, flower carpets, bowers, and adornments of plants, paper or cloth which are genuine samples of the people’s creativity. The leading role in these festivities is played by music: “sardanes”, “contrapàs”, “ball pla”, “ball d’almorratxes”, “havaneres”, etc.; by such traditional games as climbing the greased pole called the “cucanya”, sports events, children’s games, fireworks, dances of demons and of dragons, the “Patum”, the “ball de bastons”, “ball de cercolets” and “ball de gitanes”; and by the “castellers” who raise their human towers, together with a broad variety of other festive and playful features which give the local celebrations their special personality and attraction.

FÊTES POPULAIRES

Pendant la période comprise entre les mois de juin à septembre, l’immense majorité des villages catalans célèbrent les fêtes les plus traditionnelles qui coïncident, soit avec le solstice d’été, soit avec la fin des moissons. Ce sont des fêtes qui représentent une rupture annuelle de la vie quotidienne du travail, très représentatives de l’esprit du peuple catalan, et qui font partie de la culture populaire du pays.

Toutes les célébrations des fêtes populaires catalanes ont beaucoup de caractères en commun, telle que, par exemple, la coutume de décorer la place, la rue ou le quartier avec des ornements de peu de durée: chapiteaux, tapis de fleurs, branchages, décorations végétales, en papier ou en tissu, qui constituent un véritable témoignage de la créativité du peuple. Pour présider ces fêtes, que ce soit celle du quartier, la fête du village ou un bal en plein air, la musique ne peut être absente: sardanes, “contrapàs”, “ball pla”, “ball d’almorratxes”, “havaneres”, pas plus que des jeux aussi traditionnels que celui du mât de cocagne ou les compétitions sportives, les jeux pour les enfants, les feux d’artifice, les danses des bâtons, des “castellers” qui élèvent des tours humaines, et une grande diversité de formes de fêtes qui donnent leur caractère aux fêtes populaires du pays.

VOLKSTÜMLICHE FESTE

Zwischen Juni und September, zur Zeit der Sommersonnenwende oder nach eingebrachter Ernte, feiern die meisten Dörfer und Städte Kataloniens ihre traditionellen Feste. Jahr für Jahr stellen diese tief im Geiste des katalo-

nischen Volkes verwurzelten Veranstaltungen eine willkommene Unterbrechung des grauen Arbeitsalltags dar und gehören zur volkstümlichen Kultur des Landes. Die diese Feste begleitenden Elemente sind weit verbreitet und tauchen in dieser oder jener Gestalt fast überall wieder auf. In diesem Zusammenhang sei ganz besonders erinnert an den Brauch, Plätze, Straßen oder ein ganzes Viertel mit kurzlebigem Schmuckwerk herauszuputzen: Zelte, Blumenteppiche, Papiergirlanden, Fahnen... Der überschäumenden Kreativität des Volkes sind hier keine Grenzen gesetzt. Musik und Tanz dürfen natürlich bei keinem dieser vielfältigen Feste fehlen: Zu den “Havaneres” kommen die alten Volkstänze wie etwa Sardana. “Contrapàs”, “Ball Pla” und “Ball d’Almorratxes”. Aber auch Spiel und Sport sind vertreten, das traditionelle Mastklettern zum Beispiel, Wettstreite, Kinderkarussells, Feuerwerke... Und schließlich dann althergebrachte Sitten und Gebräuche wie Teufel und Drachentänze, die “Patum”, “Ball de Bastons”, “Ball de Cercolets” und “Ball de Gitanes”, die “Castellers”, die ihre menschlichen Türme bauen, und eben all das, was zu einem dieser liebenswerten, volkstümlichen Festen an Feierlichkeit und Unterhaltung gehört.

FESTE POPOLARI

Tra giugno e settembre, in occasione del solstizio d’estate o della fine del raccolto, si celebrano feste tradizionali praticamente in tutti i paesi e le città della Catalogna. Sono feste che ogni anno aprono una parentesi nella vita quotidiana e nel lavoro: sono molto rappresentative dello spirito catalano e fanno parte della cultura popolare del paese. Quasi tutte le feste popolari catalane presentano degli elementi comuni, per esempio l’abitudine di decorare la piazza, la via o il quartiere con ornamenti di breve durata come pergolati, tappeti di fiori e festoni di foglie, di carta o di stoffa: una vera e propria mostra della creatività locale. In nessuna di queste celebrazioni, vigilia, festa di quartiere o festa patronale che sia, possono mancare la musica delle sardane o i canti di habaneras, né i giochi tradizionali come l’albero della cuccagna, né le gare sportive, i giochi per bambini, i fuochi artificiali, i balli di diavoli, di draghi e di zingare, né le torri umane dei castellers, per non parlare dei numerosi eventi festivi e ludici che caratterizzano le feste popolari del paese.

“Catalunya en Miniatura” is a theme park situated in Torrelles de Llobregat, only 13 kilometres from Barcelona and surrounded by mountains and woods.

Its aim is to acquaint visitors with Catalonia’s most representative monuments using the wonder of models constructed at a scale of 1:25 and exhibited in the open air, faithfully reproducing 150 of the main Catalan buildings.

In our facilities you will find “THE LIVELY FOREST”: and adventure park among the trees, with more than 45 activities for everybody: canopies, bridges, footbridge, lianas, nets… Come and discover nature in a different way. Catalonia is a country with a long tradition in tourism, which has been visited for many years by people from all over the world, especially Europe.

We, as Catalans, are therefore used to welcoming tourists and one of the things that we take pride in is that on return to their country they can tell everyone how their holidays with us were relaxed, happy and full of interest. For this reason, and to avoid possible, although infrequent, thefts or incidents, we advise you to read the following advice and recommendations with care.

• À votre arrivée à l’hôtel, ne laissez pas la voiture chargée sans surveillance, même pour peu de temps. Une fois déchargée, verrouillez-la.

• Ne laissez pas la voiture avec le moteur en marche si vous devez en descendre, ne serait-ce que pour demander un renseignement.

• Emportez toujours les clés.

• Les objets préférés des voleurs sont les radiocassettes, les appareils photo et les caméras vidéo. Ne les laissez pas en vue dans la voiture lorsque vous n’y êtes pas.

• Ne laissez pas non plus vos papiers dans la voiture.

If travelling in your own vehicle

• When you park in front of the hotel or the place where you will be staying, do not leave the car unattended when loaded, even for a short while.

Once unloaded, leave it properly locked.

• Do not leave the car with the engine running when you get out, even just to ask for directions.

• Always take the keys with you.

• The favourite items for thieves are radiocassette recorders, cameras and camcorders. Therefore try to keep them out of sight when you leave your vehicle.

• Do not leave your documentation in the car.

In the hotel or accommodation • Do not let people take charge of your baggage who are not accredited staff of the hotel.

• Do not give either your room number or the name of the hotel where you are staying in public.

Nobody has any reason to need to know it.

• Make a photocopy of your personal documentation and leave the originals with the hotel reception or in your room. In order to avoid problems related to the loss or theft of your documentation, always take the photocopy with you when you go out.

• Leave money and valuables in the hotel or campsite safe.

• Carrying a lot of cash around is an unnecessary risk. For shopping, use credit cards or traveller’s cheques.

• In case of loss or theft of credit cards, cancel them immediately by calling the relevant bank, or the numbers listed below.

DURING YOUR STAY In the street • Avoid demonstrations and crowds of people and take care to avoid possible intimidation. Crowded areas should be considered as places of high risk, given that pickpockets often take advantage of them.

Street sellers • Reject all offers of flowers and other objects, which are often intended to distract the buyer and ease the work of the thief.

• Do no not be taken in by card-sharps (street card or dice players): they work in groups and you always lose money.

Sie Reisen mit dem eigenen Fahrzeug

• Bei der Ankunft an Ihrem Hotel oder Ihrer Unterkunft lassen Sie Ihren mit Gepäck beladenen Wagen niemals unbeaufsichtigt. Auch nicht für einen kurzen Augenblick! Nach dem Ausladen verschließen Sie Ihr Fahrzeug bitte sorgfältig.

• Verlassen Sie niemals Ihr Fahrzeug bei laufendem Motorauch nicht, um “nur mal eben” nach dem Weg zu fragen!

• Nehmen Sie stets die Schlüssel an sich!

• Große Anziehungskraf t auf Diebe üben Autoradios, Fotoapparate und Videokameras aus.

Sorgen Sie dafür, daß diese Gegenstände von außen nicht sichtbar sind.

• Lassen Sie die Fahrzeugpapiere nicht im Wagen!

Im Hotel oder in der Unterkunft

• Überlassen Sie Ihr Gepäck niemals Personen, die nicht eindeutig als Hotelpersonal zu erkennen sind.

• Geben Sie in der Öffentlichkeit niemals Auskunft über Ihre Zimmernummer und den Hotelnamen.

Das geht niemanden etwas an.

• Fotokopieren Sie Ihre Ausweispapiere und bewahren Sie die Originale an der Hotelrezeption oder in Ihrem Zimmer auf. So vermeiden Sie Probleme, die Ihnen durch einem eventuellen Verlust oder Diebstahl entstehen könnten.

Verlassen Sie Ihre Unterkunft nur mit den Kopien.

Calella’s pleasant weather and suitable facilities turn this town into an ideal place for sports.

Sports can be easily practiced all year round.

As it is close to the sea, it is possible to sail, practice water-skiing, underwater fishing and wind-surfing. There are several harbours near the village. Nearby there are two golf courses and a Pitch & Putt where these sports can be practiced throughout the course year in excellent conditions.

Calella has 2 football pitches, tennis courts and bowling. Basketball, handball and volleyball can be played at the local sports centre on the beach. Cycling, mountaineering, pétanque and billiards have a long tradition. To play table tennis there is an equipped centre where national and international competitions are held. Swimming can be practiced at the local indoor climate-controlled swimming pool or at the Olympic swimming pool at the Crol Center.

Athletics can be practiced in the open air. Chess is also popular. There is also a fully equipped sports medical centre. Thanks to its many facilities, Calella has turned into the venue for international competitions, such as the international darts championship, with teams from all over Europe.

This year, the town of Calella has been host to the I Half Challenge Costa de BarcelonaMaresme, with great success in participation and organisation and the I Challenge Costa de Barcelona-Maresme is planned for 4 October.

The town is thus consolidated as a sports tourism destination, and this year has also been awarded the recognition of the Turisme de Catalunya Sports Tourism Trademark.

Callela, bénéficiant d’un climat magnifique et d’installations hors pair, est l’endroit idéal pour le tourisme sportif permettant la pratique d’activités en toute tranquillité durant toute l’année. La proximité de la mer offre la possibilité de pratiquer la voile, le ski nautique, la pêche sous-marine et la planche à voile. Les sports nautiques jouissent de la présence de ports sportifs situés à proximité de la ville. Situés à quelques kilomètres, deux terrains de golf et un Pitch & Putt permettent la pratique de ce sport toute l’année dans des conditions optimales.

Calella met à disposition des touristes des terrains de football, des cours de tennis et des pistes de bowling. Le basket, le hand-ball et le volley-ball ont leur place au Pavillon multisports municipal. Le cyclisme, l’alpinisme, la pétanque et le billard jouissent d’une grande tradition. Le tennis de table dispose d’un immense local parfaitement aménagé permettant l’organisation de compétitions nationales et internationales. La natation peut être pratiquée au sein de la piscine couverte chauffée appartenant à la municipalité ou dans la piscine olympique de Crol Center.

L’athlétisme dispose de sa propre piste en plein air. La pratique des échecs est au goût du jour.

Il existe également un centre médical sportif possédant tous les éléments nécessaires. Cette diversité quant aux installations fait de Calella le siège de compétitions internationales, comme celle des flechettes, accueillant des équipes venues de toute l’Europe.

Cette année, la ville de Calella a accueilli le 1er Half Challenge Costa de Barcelona-Maresme avec succès grâce à la forte participation et une organisation très réussie et il est prévu que le 1er Challenge Costa de Barcelona-Maresme ait lieu le 4 octobre. Ainsi, la ville se consolide comme destination de tourisme sportif ; par ailleurs, la ville a reçu cette année la reconnaissance de la Marque de Tourisme Sportif de Tourisme de Catalogne.

SPORTANLAGEN

Das gute Klima und die entsprechenden Sportanlagen lassen Calella zu einem idealen Ort für den Sporttourismus werden, da man bequem das ganze Jahr über Sport treiben kann. Die Meeresnähe macht es möglich zu segeln, Wasserski zu fahren, auf Unterwasserjagd zu gehen oder Windsurf zu praktizieren. Die Wassersportarten können mit den ganz in der Nähe des Ortes gelegenen Jachthäfen zählen. Zwei Golfplätze und ein Pich & Putt, die nur wenige Kilometer entfernt liegen erlauben es diese Sportart das ganze Jahr über unter optimalen Bedingungen auszuüben. Calella verfügt über Fußballplätze, zahlreiche Tennisplätze und Bowlingbahnen.

Basketball, Handball und Volleyball werden in der städtischen Sporthalle gespielt. Rad fahren, Berg wandern, Boule spielen und Billard erfreuen sich einer langen Tradition. Für Tischtennis gibt es einen großen und gut ausgestatteten Saal, in dem auch nationale und internationale Wettbewerbe stattfinden. Man kann im geheizten städtischen Hallenbad und im Schwimmbad mit Olympiamassen des Crol Center schwimmen.

den. Es gibt außerdem auch ein Zentrum für Sportmedizin mit allen notwendigen Einrichtungen. Dank dieser vielseitigen Einrichtungen ist Calella der Austragungsort vieler internationaler Wettbewerbe,wie etwa die Darts Meisherschaft, an denen Teams aus ganz Europa teilnehmen.

In diesem Jahr fand der I Half-Challenge Costa de Barcelona-Maresme in Calella statt und war, was Teilnehmerzahl und Organisation betrifft, ein voller Erfolg. Am 4. Oktober wird dort nun voraussichtlich der I Challenge Costa de Barcelona-Maresme stattfinden. Damit festigt die Stadt ihren Ruf sporttouristisches Ziel.

In diesem Jahr erhielt Calella außerdem das “Sporttouristische Zeichen” des Turisme de Catalunya.

IMPIANTI SPORTIVI

Il clima favorevole e degli impianti adeguati rendono Calella un luogo idoneo per il turismo sportivo, dato che è possibile praticare sport durante tutto l’anno. La vicinanza al mare consente di praticare la vela, lo sci d’acqua, la pesca sottomarina e il windsurf. Gli sport nautici possono contare sui porti sportivi che si trovano nelle vicinanze della città. Due campi da golf e un Pitch & Putt si trovano a pochi chilometri e permettono di praticare questo sport durante tutto l’anno in condizioni ottimali.

Calella dispone inoltre di campi di calcio,

numerosi campi da tennis e sale da bowling.

Il basket, la pallamano e la pallavolo possono essere praticati presso il Padiglione Polisportivo Municipale. Il ciclismo, le arrampicate, le bocce e il biliardo contano con una lunga tradizione.

Il ping pong dispone di un grande locale ben attrezzato, dove vengono organizzate gare a livello nazionale e internazionale. Il nuoto si può praticare presso la piscina municipale coperta e climatizzata e nella piscina olimpionica di Crol Center.

L’atletica può essere praticata presso delle piste all’aria aperta. Anche gli scacchi sono un gioco abbastanza diffuso. È presente inoltre un centro di medicina sportiva che dispone di tutte le attrezzature necessarie. Questa varietà di impianti consente a Calella di continuare ad essere la sede di gare internazionali, comme la di frecette, a cui partecipano squadre provenienti da tutta Europa.

Quest’anno la città di Calella ha accolto la I Half Challenge Costa de Barcelona-Maresme, che ha riscosso un enorme successo in termini di partecipazione e di organizzazione, e si prevede per il 4 ottobre lo svolgimento della I Challenge Costa de Barcelona-Maresme. In tal modo la città si afferma come destinazione del turismo sportivo; inoltre, Calella ha ricevuto quest’anno il riconoscimento del Marchio del Turismo Sportivo della comunità autonoma.
