Resumen La principal preocupación filosófica de Descartes fue la de identificar las condiciones de posibilidad del conocimiento, más exactamente de su certeza; ello lo sustenta en el sujeto pensante. En el presente trabajo se analizarán los pasos que Descartes utiliza para llegar a definir qué es una cosa pensante y saber cuál es el papel que juegan los objetos físicos para llegar a tal conclusión

Abstract The main Descartes’ philosophical worry was to identify the possibility conditions of knowledge, particularly, of his certainty; that thing it is sustained on the thinking subject. This contribution will analyze the steps used by Descartes to define what a thinking entity is and to know which is the role that the physical objects play to reach this conclusion.
