Metafísica descriptiva como alternativa a los problemas de sentido en la metafísica tradicional

Resumen A lo largo de la historia, la metafísica ha sufrido muchos cambios motivados en parte por los ataques que ha sufrido, pero también por la constante reevaluación de su objeto y método de estudio. En este constante proceso revolucionario aparecen muchas variaciones de lo que puede denominarse como filosofía metafísica, y es en el siglo XX donde aparecen las propuestas más interesantes sobre el camino que debe seguir la metafísica. La tesis que intento defender es que la función de la metafísica es la descripción de los rasgos fundamentales de la estructura de nuestro pensamiento acerca del mundo. Cuestión coherente con el planteamiento de que la ontología es el problema fundamental de la metafísica. Además, presento una especificación más fuerte de la metafísica descriptiva desde el contraste con el análisis conceptual y con las propuestas reduccionistas y revisionistas, que son también vertientes bastante marcadas en la filosofía analítica contemporánea.

Abstract Throughout history, metaphysics have suffered many changes which have been motivated not only by the attacks it have been received but also by the constant reevaluation of his study object and method. On this revolutionary process they are presented a lot of variations of that it can be considered as a metaphysical philosophy, moreover, it is in the XXth century where the most interesting proposals have appeared on the way that must be followed by the metaphysics. The thesis I am trying to defend is that the description of the fundamental features of our world thinking structure is the function of metaphysics. Besides, I present a stronger specification of the descriptive metaphysics in contrast to the conceptual analysis and to the reductionism and revisionist proposals that also are rather marked streams in the contemporary analytic philosophy.
