Return ‘Em Right aims to increase survival of reef fish that are caught and released in the Gulf. The program provides anglers with the knowledge and tools to successfully release reef fish. YOU CAN HELP TACKLE BAROTRAUMA
Have you released reef fish and watched them float off on the surface? This is due to barotrauma, a pressure-related injury that fish experience when reeled up from depth. Barotrauma typically occurs in depths of 50’ or greater, but some species are affected at shallower depths.
