All our VCRs allow you to record one programme whilst watching another. We also sell video players for watching pre-recorded videos, but these cannot be used for recording.
Programming VCRs are programmed to record by using a remote control handset. Many have a visual LCD panel on the handset or an on-screen display showing the details entered.
Eventnmer You can programme most VCRs to record a number of events over a period of weeks. -
Twin Speed Atwin speed (or "long play") facility allows the VCR to record and then play back at half the usual operating speed. The on-screen image appears as usual, but the recording time of a tape is effectively doubled. This gives 8 hours of recording on a 4 hour tape, however the quality of the recording may not be quite as good as when recorded at normal speed.
