The RTAM Board of Directors and staff held their annual Christmas celebration again this year. Due to the cancellation of the December meeting, the event was held January 14, 2020, the day before the January Board meeting. The traditional Christmas buffet with all of the trimmings was held at the Holiday Inn Winnipeg Airport West. The food was delicious and the company was great. Music was provided by John Sushelnitsky, JoAnne Hoyak and Julian Hoyak. They performed a number of favourite rock songs and encouraged us all to sing along. Their music was most appreciated. Pat Bowslaugh had us all participate in a Christmas game. It was a lovely evening where the directors got to meet each other’s spouses and learn more about each other in a setting other than the RTAM office. Seeing each other in a different light makes for a better understanding of each other and promotes a more collegial atmosphere while dealing with the many issues that concern RTAM members. It was a wonderful evening. §
