HEART & STROKE WEBINAR AND VICTORIA LIFELINE PRESENTATION
When: March 20, 2020; 12:30 -3:30 P.M. / Where: RTAM Boardroom
The webinar is from Heart & Stroke:
Heart & Stroke has released its 2019 Report called (Dis)connected: How unseen links are putting us at risk. The Report, for the first time, examines the complex connections that link heart conditions, stroke and vascular cognitive impairment. By analyzing available data and published studies, as well as interviews with patients and families and consumer polling, we have found many strong associations between these conditions, the challenges faced by and impact on the people experiencing them, and how the health system supports them through their journeys.
The presentation is from Vicki Russenholt of Victoria Lifeline:
Vicki from Victoria Lifeline will be presenting “successful aging”, this presentation will be beneficial for individuals who may be facing some health challenges (of any age), live alone or caring for a loved one. Education and being proactive is key to our wellness, only 30% of how well we age is based on genetics, the rest is lifestyle. Two things that will help you age successfully are healthy living and knowing what “tools” are in your tool kit & be willing to use them when you need them. She will provide examples of many “tools” that are available, one of them being Victoria Lifeline.
