Jenkins has developed a distinctive painting style that revels in the application of small, purposeful mark on the page. His paintings are simultaneously delicate and bold, created from the accrual of lines on the surface in a sensitive range of color. Jenkins’ work has been featured in many exhibitions in the Philadelphia area, including a show at the Nugent Gallery at Rosemont College. He currently has an installation on view at 1000 Westlakes in Berwyn, PA.

Stewart develops detailed renderings of an eclectic collection of source imagery that blur the line between fantasy and reality. His portrait work emphasizes subtle expressions of posture and mood. Stewart has published three comic books, Spinner on the Block, Bear in the Hood and No Turnin’ Back, the latter is “a story about a 12-year-old Hamilton, a troubled boy who has been abused by his mother and gets caught in a drug gang.” This month, Stewart’s work will be featured in Art at Kings Oaks in Newtown, PA.

Moseley began making art about eight years ago at Oasis, an art studio in Philadelphia and has continued to develop her craft at CCW for the past five years. Moseley's work explores unique imagery from her day-to-day life –churches, quilts, and plates of food. Her ceramic work has recently taken off, as she has developed a series of Barbara Streisand busts and animal figures full of dynamic texture. Her work has been featured in Dizzy Magazine (NYC) and exhibited throughout Philadelphia, including at the University City Arts League and the Philadelphia Foundation.

Henry works on paper, ceramics, wood, music, and textile. Clyde skillfully translates his artistic energy to any material he works with. He has recently developed a passion for loom weaving, working at Ready to Hand studio in South Philadelphia. Henry’s work has been exhibited at the Woodmere Museum, Outsider Art Fair, ArtYard, Pressure Club, Spillway Collective, The Pingle Building, and Fleisher/Ollman Gallery. Henry had his first solo exhibition last Spring at Tiger Strikes Asteroid in Philadelphia.

In 2019 Plaza participated in a rug tufting workshop with textile artist Tim Eads, where she created floral and fish-themed rugs. In 2021 one of Plaza’s original drawings was turned into a series of products produced by Urban Outfitters. She has previously worked at SpArc Philadelphia.

Thompson is famous for her tongue-ink-cheek depictions of her friends and family members as cats and chickens. With an eye for design, she creates dynamic compositions filled with repeated motifs of hearts, stars, and rainbows. In 2016, through CCW’s Allies in Art program, she collaborated with local artists and bag designer Tim Eads to create a series of clothing items and bags using painted and printed yardage that she created in his studio. These, along with custom wooden pins cut in the shape of cats, were sold in Philadelphia boutique Stadler-Kahn.

John John creates delicate drawings of his favorite iconography such as images of Boston, Diners, telephones, vintage household items, airplanes and helicopters. John carefully draws each scene from his imagination, or from photos of the subject. He pays particularly close attention to adding color in an even and controlled way.

Kim started with Live Yes Studios in Oct. of 2011. When she began with Live Yes Studios, Kim only wanted to work with splatter painting. Nikki enjoys making acrylic and watercolor paintings of things that make her happy: the beach, sunsets, and dolphins. She often experiments with using tape to block off sections, and create crisp lines. Although her favorite color is blue, she likes using other bright colors to make the image pop. Nikki writes short stories and poetry, often accompanied by artwork as well.

Spicer-Crawley works with a wide range of materials, including wood collage, ceramic, calligraphy ink, paper sculpture, and acrylic paint pen. His style is both freeform and carefully crafted, with recurring motifs of letters, police officers, and squiggly lines. In 2019, SpicerCrawley's first solo exhibition at Little Berlin Gallery in Philadelphia displayed a collection of original drawings, paintings, and sculptural work.

Susan Susan started Live Yes Studios in 2012. Susan is nonverbal and needs time and some hand-over-hand to help complete a project. Susan prefers acrylic paint as she can work on it for a few months. This process gives Susan time to add layers and make it look seamless as it was done in one sitting.
