her Father. Her late Great Aunt Mahila Jackson was close friends to producer Quincy Jones who upon hearing Genesis advised her to start writing her own music and embark on a singing career.

Genesis was soon recording to tracks for DJ’s and was featured in multiple songs and re-mixes. Soon after Grammy Winning Producer, Songwriter Cory Rooney (JLO, Destiny’s Child, Michael Jackson, Mary J Blige, Mariah Carey) heard her music and reached out requesting that they collaborate in recording music for her own records. The dream was now turning into a reality for Genesis.
Now, Genesis Jones is ready to bring to the world her own alluring and powerful brand of soulful passionate music. Look for “With or Without You” accompanied by a beautiful video shot in the Dominican Republic and a 2nd Single soon to follow. In addition, there will be a series of multiple re-mixes created by the “Dance DJ” circuit.
