Chesnut Charter Elementary School in Dunwoody celebrated Silly Hat Day on Oct. 17, a prize earned by the students for exceeding their Chesnut Challenge fundraising goal by almost 20 percent. Funds raised from the challenge are directed toward the school’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programs.
