I’m Mayor Armondo Pavone, and on behalf of all of us here at the City of Renton, we are so glad to be your preferred destination for gathering, staying active and connected with our community.
The City is committed to being a great place to live, work AND play. We hope you enjoy the activities and recreational opportunities in the pages that follow.
We’re also committed to providing wonderful programming and places to play and gather. In our 2020 Parks, Recreation, and Natural Areas Plan, we heard that our residents wanted upgrades and improvements to our existing parks and facilities, and we set out to do just that. This year, you’ll be able to enjoy programs and recreation at upgraded and renovated spaces at Philip Arnold Park, Kiwanis Park, and Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park.
These upgrades ensure these well-loved spaces remain safe, inviting, and enjoyable for years to come.
As we approach the new year, it is a great time to reflect, be thankful, and appreciate the wonderful people, activities and spaces surrounding us here in Renton.
Along with family and friends, I hope you find time to enjoy the city’s parks, programming, and facilities in 2024.
