Renoma Hotel est un lieu unique, une architecture contemporaine édifiée sur une demeure des années 30 conjuguant ainsi Tel Aviv au passé et au futur.

C’est aussi le premier Home Hôtel Arty entièrement décoré et aménagé dans l’univers artistique de Maurice Renoma.

Photographies, mobilier, tapis, coussins, linge de maison ont été signés ou choisis par le designer globe-trotter : avec son style unique et créatif, il a su recréer l’âme d’une maison de famille chaleureuse et accueillante…

MAURICE RENOMA / THE ARTIST / THE DESIGNER In the early 1990s, Maurice Renoma developed a passion for another means of expression: the image. She becomes the core of her work, and marks the beginning of a new story. The title of his first collection of photographs «renoma ... maurice: modographe» highlights what he owes to fashion in his photographic activity: the same attention to detail and composition.

The human body is at the center of this first period , marked by a particular interest for the characters - sometimes taken out of context and resituated in an almost cinematographic frame - and the images impregnated with sensuality, exploring the details of a garment on the body, capturing the charm of a lost look or an intimate ritual. It is life itself and the surprising normality of the experiences, which become the main subject of Maurice Renoma’s photos. His camera accompanies him everywhere, in each of his travels, around the world. Renoma seeks the life of the street, recognizing and seizing his energy through its inhabitants, humans or animals, their attitudes, their dress codes ... He finds poetry everywhere: Tokyo urban jungle or Norman countryside, he photographs the beauty of the moment in a true declaration of love in the present.

Elle devient le noyau de son travail, et marque le début d’une nouvelle histoire. Le titre de son premier recueil de photographies “renoma … maurice : modographe” souligne ce qu’il doit à la mode dans son activité photographique : la même attention portée aux détails et à la composition.Le corps humain est au centre de cette première période, marquée par un intérêt particulier pour les personnages –parfois sortis de leur contexte et resitués dans un cadre quasi cinématographique– et les images imprégnées de sensualité, explorant les détails d’un vêtement sur le corps, capturant le charme d’un regard perdu ou d’un rituel intime. C’est la vie même et la surprenante normalité des expériences, qui deviennent le sujet principal des photos de Maurice Renoma. Son appareil photo l’accompagne partout, dans chacun de ses voyages, à travers le monde. Renoma recherche la vie de la rue, reconnaissant et saisissant son énergie à travers ses habitants, humains ou animaux, leurs attitudes, leurs codes vestimentaires… Il trouve la poésie partout : jungle urbaine tokyoïte ou campagne normande, il photographie la beauté de l’instant dans une véritable déclaration d’amour au présent.
