End of Financial Year Report 2024/2025

It’s been a landmark year for real estate in Naremburn, and we’d like to share some of the highlights from what has been our most successful 12 months to date. The local market surged ahead with outstanding results, recordbreaking sales and strong buyer activity across every category, and Team Chauncy was right at the heart of it all. We’re proud to have led the way once again, helping set new benchmarks and deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients.

We’re also incredibly honoured to have been named Rate My Agent’s Agent of the Year for Naremburn for the 11th year running. This means so much because it’s based on real feedback from people in our community. Adding to that, Peter was named #8 in Australia in the REB Top 100 Agents.

Our presence at the top end of the market held firm, with Team Chauncy selling 18 out of the top 25 house and semi-detached sales in Naremburn, as well as nine of the top 10 townhouse and apartment sales. We set five new street records and seven new block records, helping homeowners achieve dream results while continuing to raise the bar for Naremburn real estate.

One of the year’s most exciting successes was setting not one, but two new suburb records. A beautiful home at 28 Rhodes Avenue set a new benchmark for houses, selling for an incredible $6,600,000, while 7 Merrenburn Avenue now holds the record for the highest semi sale at $4,880,000.

We also attained the highest sale prices for the year for both a townhouse and an apartment in Naremburn. 18/55 Garland Road sold for $3,080,000, while 42/2A Palmer Street reached $1,915,000 – both standout results proving the depth of hot buyers in today’s market.

As seen in the graphs, the average sale price for houses in Naremburn has remained steady over the past year. There has been significant upward movement in the townhouse and apartment markets, with limited stock and lots of buyer demand continuing to drive growth. Naremburn’s quiet charm, village atmosphere and CBD proximity continue to attract strong interest from families, downsizers and investors alike.

Alongside our results in property, we’ve continued our close involvement in the community. This year we helped raise more than $25,000 for the Willoughby Preschool through various fundraising initiatives, helping provide valuable resources and support to local families.

As we look ahead to the new financial year, we remain confident in the strength of the Naremburn market. Interest rates have stabilised, buyer confidence is strong and demand for quality homes continues to rise.

Whether you’re thinking of selling, leasing or simply want an idea of where your property sits in today’s market, Team Chauncy is always here to help.

Here’s to another exciting year ahead in Naremburn.
