Our Promise To You

The health and safety of our residents and staff is our top priority.

Our spaces will continue to be as safe as they are beautiful through expanded protocols, which we have developed in partnership with Mount Sinai.

The measures we are taking include additional staff and cleaning, more frequent disinfecting, and EPA-listed products and signage.

This guidebook will provide a more detailed overview of these protocols and what actions our teams are taking for you and your guests.

Health & Safety

Cleaning Protocols • • •

Staff will continue to use disinfectants and products that are clearly marked for use against viruses.

Hand sanitizer stations will be available in common areas, elevator lobbies, front entrance areas, garage entrances, party rooms, kid’s rooms, and all other amenity spaces.

We will have enhanced cleaning procedures for all amenity spaces. Examples of these include: • • • • •

Gyms will be continuously cleaned while they are open. Equipment will be marked as Ready for Use or To Be Cleaned. Additional wipe down stations will be installed in the gym.

Amenity areas will be deep cleaned between each reserved use.

Kids room will be deep cleaned after each reserved use.

Additional wipe down stations will be installed in select amenity areas where the need is evident.

Site teams will use enhanced cleaning equipment to safely and efficiently clean common areas.

Protecting Our Essential Staff • Staff will always wear a mask while on duty.

• Staff members will be required to wear gloves while on duty.

• A Health Awareness Training and Tracking procedure will be used to report and record staff health status prior to them starting their shift.

• All employees are required to stay home if they feel ill or have encountered a COVID-infected person.

Resident & Guest Experience Reservations • Select amenity spaces can be reserved though the Related Connect App. Reservation times will be limited to 2 hours, and spaces will be cleaned after each reservation.

Arrival Experience for Residents and Guests • Doorpersons will maintain as much feasible social distancing as possible when opening car service doors or assisting residents in vehicles.

• Plexi-glass separator will remain at the front desk for the near term to protect residents and employees.

• Hand Sanitizing stations are in every lobby and elevator vestibule.

• Where applicable, directional signage and floor markers will provide guided pathways.

• All guests will be required to wear masks in common area spaces. Masks shall be offered to guests that arrive without them.

• Dog walkers will be required to wear masks on all residential floors.

• Floor markers will be installed indicating where residents should stand while waiting to approach the desk.

• Luggage carts will be wiped down at least once per hour.

Elevators • • • • • •

Each elevator button will be installed with antiseptic button covers.

Elevator cabs will be sanitized by building teams twice per day and overnight.

Social distancing markers have been installed.

Elevator capacity will be limited based on cab size.

All vendors/contractors must use service elevators.

Hand sanitizing station will be installed at every elevator lobby on every floor throughout the building.

• Additional signage shall be installed at each elevator lobby reminding residents not to crowd elevators and be patient should elevators be at the limit for occupancy.

Resident & Guest Experience Cont’d Package Delivery • • •

Contact-free delivery stations for food deliveries are in the lobby.

When applicable, in-home package delivery service will resume. However, upon resumption of the service, delivery of items will be to just inside your front door and our teams will not be able to put items into closets or to specific locations within your unit.

All packages delivered to the site will be sprayed with disinfectant by the staff prior to being handed over or delivered.

Service Requests • •

While performing any service request in your unit, staff members will wear booties, gloves and a mask.

Prior to entering your unit, our staff may respectfully inquire if everyone in the unit is healthy prior to entering. If you or someone in your unit is feeling unwell, we will reschedule the service request to a later date unless it is an emergency.

Garages • In applicable buildings with garages, the garage attendants have been directed to wipe the steering wheels before departing your vehicle and to use clean wipes on door handles.

Move-In/Move Out • During all move-ins and move-outs, personnel associated with the moving company shall be required to wear masks and gloves while on the premises.

• At the conclusion of the move-in or move-out, the move pathway (service entrance, service elevator, hallway) will be cleaned.

Additional Staff • •

To provide enhanced cleaning services, we are positioning additional staff at all sites. You may see a new face on our team from time-to-time.

Additionally, we may reposition existing staff to cleaning and sanitation functions within the building.

Amenities

Furniture has been re-arranged to promote social distancing.

Surfaces are cleaned regularly with disinfectant products.

Additional signage has been installed to remind residents to practice appropriate social distancing and be mindful of other residents while utilizing the space.

Hand sanitizing stations are in all business centers.

Resident Lounge • • • •

For private reservations, maximum occupancy will be reduced by 50%.

There will be a 2-hour black out period between reservations in order to accommodate additional cleaning.

A cleaning fee will be charged per reservation.

There is signage reminding everyone to practice appropriate social distancing.

F i t n e s s C e n t e r/ S t u d i o •

Our gyms will operate under the “Continuous Cleaning and Clean Zone” concept, which will involve a staff member being positioned in the gym during the hours that the gym is open. Our staff person will continuously clean equipment in the gym and may shut down select sections of the gym for additional cleaning. Please be assured that at least one piece of cardio equipment will always be clean and available.

We are positioning additional cleaning wipe stations in multiple locations throughout the gym area.

Other stationary equipment in the gym will be spaced out as far as reasonably possible. Therefore, the gym may have a slightly different equipment layout from what you are used to.

Select equipment may be unplugged and clearly marked to facilitate physical distancing.

Signage reminders to clean equipment before and after each use have been posted around the gym.

Towel service has been temporarily suspended. Residents are encouraged to bring their own towels on an interim basis.

Where available, separate studio workout rooms with select pieces of equipment will be available for reservation for a more personalized and isolated work out. These studio reservations can be booked via the Related Connect App for a fee.

Signage has been installed in the gym noting social distancing practices, equipment wipe down reminders, and proper time limit etiquette.

Hand sanitizing stations have been installed throughout the gym area.

Kids Rooms • • • •

Room will be reservable through the Related Connect app.

Occupancy is not to exceed 5 persons.

The Children’s room will be cleaned after each reservation.

Hand sanitizing stations will be present in all kid’s rooms, mounted at a height to avoid child usage.

O u t d o o r Te r r a c e s • •

Select furniture pieces will be removed or spread out to appropriate distances consistent with social distancing practices.

Signage has been installed reminding everyone to practice appropriate social distancing and be mindful of each other while in the space.
