Holy Mother Public School is a unit of New Happy Group of Educational Institutions, a premier educational group in Yamuna Nagar which runs 4 educational institutions in varied fields at 4 campuses in Yamuna Nagar since 1973. School is under the guidance of able and experienced members of Holy Mother Education Society.

Holy Mother Public School is an amalgamation of competent teachers, artistic infrastructure, an experienced and efficient administration. The school came into existence in 1994-95 with the vision of creating safe and supportive environment to the students by providing a perfect balance of academics, sports, artistic and social opportunities. The school's genuine concern ensures student's emotional growth along with Intellectual excellence. This empowers them to develop their self-esteem, selfawareness and self confidence. Sharing ideas, analyzing situations and expressing them confidently are essential skills which are honed here, through Experimental Learning.

The school motto 'Excelsior' creates fire among the students to excel in every field of life. Our vision is to develop a range of pathways to lifelong learning. Our belief is that every child has a definite potential. It is foremost duty of school, teachers and parents to recognize that potential.

t gives me immense sense of pride as our dream of bringing quality, education par excellence comes true. I believe that education is most important tool that shapes the future of any individual, society or nation at large. We wanted to build a school that not only catered to best amenities and facilities but also focused on learning process that is enjoyed by our kids. A unique concept of imparting knowledge where children learn by experience and application. we have a well crafted curriculum that promises to impart knowledge acquisition with emphasis on sports and technology as tools, global outlook, communication skill, decision making, critical thinking, accepting reasonability, setting gools for healthy living, coping with emotions and stress, time management and other essential life skills. I see my vision getting wings. Building school is driven by my passion to provide the best in the chosen field and shall stay committed to it. What you see today is a new born baby just opening its eyes to world. As time unfolds, further you shall see Holy Mother Public School Yamuna Nagar. INTERNATIONAL POLICY

The School motto is “Creating Global Citizens”.

AIM/PURPOSE: To develop a number of links and activities to ensure that Trinity students are able to develop into well qualified citizens of the world and for the school to achieve the British Council’s International School Award.

GENERAL PRINCIPLES: We recognise that: • Global issues are an important part of the lives of our students living in a world where economies are increasingly interdependent and global communication is a daily reality. Our students have access to the internet and increased opportunity to travel, watch news stories from around the world and follow international events as they happen. The global dimension should be reflected in the attitudes and values of our students, the ethos and values Trinity as a faith school. The Coordinator has to be someone who provides direction, instructions & guidance to the ISA Team members for the purpose of achieving the goal & also oversee the planning, implementation and tracking of the ISA Project Action Plan.

The Coordinator must know the team member's strengths, weaknesses & motivations. Below mentioned is a list of responsibilities shouldered by the ISA Coordinator: Ÿ To have overall responsibility for successfully applying for the International School Award. Ÿ To be responsible for conducting an annual audit outlining the schools action plan for developing an International Dimension. Ÿ To develop an International dimension throughout the school by helping colleagues develop cross-curricular projects within each year group. Ÿ To contribute towards a school policy statement on the International Dimension. Ÿ To help the school celebrate the rich and diverse cultural heritage and ethnic diversity within the school through the assemblies, international days/weeks/activities and to develop and maintain resources to promote the international dimension.

Aim and Objectives The aim of this activity is: Ÿ To study about the flag, currency’s values and national symbols of different countries. Ÿ To develop the sense of appreciate the diversity among the borders to develop critical thinking, creativity, citizenship, values among students Ÿ To enable the students to compare the similarities between the different countries. Ÿ To understand the concept of shape, currency and correlate his country’s currency and flag with others. Description The brief an clear description of this activity is as follows: Ÿ All the students will speak few lines on country flag (colour, shape) and national symbols like bird, animal etc. which assigned to him/her by the teacher. Ÿ Teacher will give them additional knowledge about the national bird and animal of different countries. Ÿ Students will prepare a chart or a flash card and paste the symbols and currency with their names of the chart/ flash card. Description The brief an clear description of this activity is as follows: Ÿ Students will dress up any of the famous personality of their own and other country from any field like sports, business, science etc. Ÿ They will act as a role model. Ÿ They will describe the biography of that particular personality by their speech. Ÿ They will write an essay what they want to be in life and whom they are inspire from. Ÿ A teacher will act as a judge and assess the student on the basis of their performance. Ÿ We also request our collaborative countries to do this activity in our school about what they want to be like. Ÿ But if they don’t agree then we will ask the students to choose one national and one international personality from prescribed field and conduct it.

Description The brief an clear description of this activity is as follows: Ÿ Teacher will ask the students to list down the major crops produced within the country. Ÿ Students will locate the listed crops on their country map. Ÿ Students will exchange their list and map activity with the partner school. Ÿ They will paste the got information on display board and inform others. Ÿ Teacher will ask the student to prepare the recipe which is prepared by common crops. Ÿ They will share atleast one recipe with the partner school. Ÿ If the collaborative country not ready to do the activity, teacher will divide the class into groups and prepare different recipes.

Aim: In This project, young learner will undergo theme based learning through farm theme (animals) and explore various ac vi es in the context in India and other parts of the countries.

Content: Exploring and visi ng to the farm and learn about animals found in India, solving the worksheet regarding animal home, sound, young one and usefulness, making collage on a farmhouse animal, par cipa ng in audio visual quiz conducted by teacher.

Outcomes: Explora on the theme through wri ng ac vi es of India and UK and to enable the students to iden fy various farm animals, their home, sounds, young ones and usefulness.

Aim and Objectives The aim of this activity is: Ÿ To develop learning based on farm theme. Ÿ To explore various activities in the context in India and other parts of the countries. Ÿ To explore the theme through the writing activity. Ÿ To develop critical thinking skills of correlation and social skill of caring through the activity of theme. Ÿ To enable the students to identify various farm animals, their homes, their young ones and usefulness. Ÿ To develop the learning ability through visiting.

ACTIVITY - V

Description The brief an clear description of this activity is as follows: Ÿ Teacher will deliver the information regarding farm animals, their young ones, sound, homes and their usefulness using smart class. Ÿ Teacher will take an audio visual quiz. Ÿ Student will visit farm and learn about animal found in India. Ÿ Students will solve worksheets regarding animal homes, sound, young ones and their usefulness. Ÿ They will form a group collage and put it on display board. Ÿ They will share the collective information regarding animals and activity with the collaborative country.
