OVERVIEW At WildLIVE! the best Subject— Jesus Christ—will come into focus as we trek through the Gospels. First, we’ll see Jesus’ love

displayed when He comes to earth for us.

Then, when He resists temptation in the wilderness, His holiness will come into focus. Next, we’ll zoom in on Jesus needing to rest but showing compassion by miraculously feeding a hungry crowd. Then we’ll watch Him model humility by washing His disciples’ feet. And we’ll learn from His faithfulness when He follows God’s plan, even though it leads to the cross. These characteristics will be illustrated in memorable ways through the animal friends we meet—a llama, a beaver, a dolphin, an elephant, and a penguin. Kids will learn how to become God’s child, and they’ll discover how to follow Jesus in their own “habitats”!

MISSIONS PROJECT

Showing Christ to Kids in India

Love. Compassion. Faithfulness even when others walk away. Eternal life.

Kids in India desperately need Jesus and what He provides, especially kids like those living with their mothers in a prison in southern India, or like kids living in a Christian academy in Manipur whose families can’t afford to take care of them.

These homes could be considered places of desperation, but they have become windows of opportunity. Compassionate people have been given special permission to visit the prison, where they tell the kids about Jesus and show His love in ways that make a difference. Meanwhile, families in Manipur are seeing wonderful changes in their children through the Christian academy.

There’s slim chance these children will hear about Jesus anywhere else, because only a handful of people in their cities are Christians. And if it weren’t for these windows of opportunity to minister to these kids, many of them would even go hungry. The prison ministry and Christian academy are wonderful ways of showing Christ to them. But the needs

are great, and without our help, these windows of opportunity may close.

Your VBS can make a difference through Operation Care! For $7, a child can have a Bible to learn about Jesus and His love. A gift of $12 could provide a hungry boy or girl with a box of food. For $17, a child will have a blanket. And for $50, a child can have a mattress and a warm place to sleep.

By giving to Operation Care, you will be part of showing Christ to kids in India. You’ll help them see He is worth trusting and following. And you’ll love getting involved and showing how much you care.

Will you help children who need help in India? By praying and giving through Operation Care, you are telling them, “Jesus loves you”!
